Honda has launched a darker-looking CB350C variant in India ahead of Diwali 2026. The motorcycle is being called the “Black Edition” in launch coverage, although Honda has not confirmed that as its official name. It is based on the CB350C STD and appears to be a cosmetic update rather than a mechanical one. RushLane reports an approximate on-road price of Rs 2.32 lakh; Honda’s exact ex-showroom price, colour code and model number still require dealer confirmation.
What changed on the new Honda CB350C Black Edition?
The update concentrates on black finishes for several previously lighter or brighter components. The fender stays, headlight cowl, lower fork sections, horns, crankcase Honda plate and mirrors receive the darker treatment. These changes give the CB350C a more subdued appearance without altering its basic bodywork.

It is not a completely blacked-out motorcycle. The exhaust, handlebar and rear twin shock absorbers retain chrome, while some handlebar-clamp parts remain silver. The result is therefore closer to a near-black theme than an all-black build.
The motorcycle continues with conventional rounded fenders and the sleeker pea-shooter exhaust used by the current CB350C family. No frame, suspension-layout or wheel-design change has been reported.

Does the engine or gearbox change?
No mechanical change has been reported for the darker variant. RushLane lists the same 348.36cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, five-speed gearbox and slipper clutch as the regular CB350C. Its report quotes 21 PS and 29.5 Nm.
Honda’s 2026 model information specifies maximum power of 15.5 kW at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 29.4 N-m at 3,000 rpm. Those figures come from different published sources and should be read as source-specific specifications, not as an independently measured discrepancy. No independent road-test, fuel-economy or owner-performance data is established for this launch.

How much does the Honda CB350C Black Edition cost?
The only Black Edition figure currently reported is RushLane’s approximate on-road price of Rs 2.32 lakh. Because on-road prices include registration, insurance and local charges, the amount can vary by state and city. Honda has not supplied a Black Edition-specific ex-showroom MSRP in the available launch information.
For context, Autocar India listed these 2026 CB350C ex-showroom prices:

When and where can you buy it?
Autocar reported that the 2026 CB350C range would be available from October. Honda’s earlier CB350C Special Edition announcement said sales were through Honda BigWing dealerships, and Honda states that CB350C spare parts are available through those outlets.
- Ask a Honda BigWing dealer whether the darker motorcycle is officially listed in the dealership system.
- Confirm the Honda name, colour code, model or SKU and ex-showroom price on the quotation.
- Request a written on-road breakup showing registration, insurance, taxes and any optional accessories.
- Check that the delivered motorcycle’s equipment matches the specification sheet before making final payment.
Is the Black Edition completely black?
No. The fender stays, headlight cowl, fork lowers, horns, crankcase plate and mirrors are blackened, but chrome remains on the exhaust, handlebar and rear shocks. Silver details around the handlebar clamp are also visible, so the appearance is a mixed black, chrome and silver finish.

How does it compare with the Royal Enfield Classic 350?
The CB350C and Classic 350 target buyers who want a traditional roadster, but a meaningful comparison requires matching the same price basis and city. Compare ex-showroom with ex-showroom or on-road with on-road, then check engine output, rider aids, connectivity, dealer coverage, service access and accessory prices.
The available launch material does not provide verified, like-for-like Classic 350 specifications or current local on-road quotes, so a precise performance or value winner cannot be established from the published figures alone. The Honda’s documented advantages are its listed HSTC, dual-channel ABS, RoadSync connectivity, emergency stop signal and side-stand inhibitor.
