The Motocross of European Nations (MXoEN) and Women’s Motocross of European Nations (WMXoEN) are set for 11–12 September 2027. Where is MX Vinohrad?
MX Vinohrad is in Veľké Uherce, Slovakia. FIM Europe describes the circuit as having a demanding, flowing layout. The venue has previously hosted Slovakian International Championship races and FIM Europe European Championship rounds for women’s racing, EMX65 and EMX85. The circuit was designed and built by Greg Atkins.
Which classes race at the Motocross of European Nations?
The MXoEN is a national-team contest drawing riders from three European Championship classes. It is distinct from the women’s nations event, which features leading European women riders.

FIM Europe President Michal Sikora said the event gives young riders the chance to compete for their country rather than only for an individual result. FIM Europe and Infront describe the joint men’s and women’s national-team format as a distinctive feature of the event.
Is the Women’s Motocross of European Nations returning?
Yes. The announcement names both the MXoEN and WMXoEN for the 2027 weekend. The women’s contest is not simply a class within the three-class MXoEN format: it is a separately named nations event featuring leading European women riders, many of whom compete regularly in the WMX World Championship.

Recent winners and the event’s pathway role
Infront Moto Racing reports that Italy won the 2024 MXoEN for a record fifth time, while Spain defended its women’s title. That history helps explain the event’s national-team emphasis: it gives riders a chance to represent their country, including young competitors progressing through the EMX classes.
Infront also points to Daniela Guillén’s 1-1 performance at the 2022 WMXoEN in Talavera de la Reina and her later 2026 WMX World Championship title. It is one example of a rider’s progression, not a guarantee that competing in the event leads to a world title.
