Bentley’s official pages describe an all-electric SUV range called Torcal, including Torcal and Torcal S versions. But its 2025 Sustainability Report still says the company is on track to reveal its first fully electric Bentley in 2026—and Bentley’s reviewed materials do not explain how that statement relates to the named Torcal range. Performance details are available for the Torcal S; confirmed price, battery size, range, charging rate and customer delivery timing are not.
When is the electric Bentley coming out?
Bentley’s 2025 Sustainability Report says the company remains on track to reveal its first fully electric Bentley in 2026. The report does not establish a customer delivery date. Bentley’s history page also describes an unnamed luxury urban SUV due for launch in 2026, but the newer report says the company has not set a new completion date for its wider electrification plan. The older 2035 all-electric-range target should therefore not be treated as a newly reconfirmed deadline.
The status is difficult to reconcile with Bentley’s live Torcal model pages, which present Torcal as an all-electric SUV range with named Torcal and Torcal S versions. The reviewed official pages do not say whether Torcal is the first BEV referenced in the report, whether the model pages represent a formal launch, or how the statements fit together. Bentley’s CEO, Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, said in the 2025 report: “Despite the change to our product strategy, we are still on track to reveal the first fully electric Bentley in 2026.”
What are the Torcal and Torcal S?
Bentley’s US and UK model pages describe Torcal as an all-electric luxury SUV range. They identify a standard Torcal and a performance-led Torcal S, and highlight craftsmanship and connected technology. The pages support a comparison of their performance emphasis, styling and equipment, but do not provide a complete market-by-market specification that would establish all differences.

Torcal S performance
Bentley quotes peak output of up to 876 bhp (888 PS / 653 kW) and 1,350 Nm (996 lb ft) for the Torcal S when launch control is active. Those are conditional peak figures, not a statement of ordinary continuous output. No equivalent Torcal output figure is established in the reviewed material.
What are the range, battery and charging details?
Bentley’s UK Torcal page says EU27 emissions, electricity consumption and electric-range data are pending type approval. The reviewed pages do not establish battery capacity or a charging rate, so there is not yet a confirmed basis for estimating the SUV’s usable range or charging time.

The UK page describes Plug and Charge as handling vehicle authentication at a charging station and says a valid charging contract is required. Availability and features can vary by market; that description does not establish a charging speed or a universal charging-network arrangement.
How much will the electric Bentley cost, and when will customers get it?
Bentley’s reviewed official material does not state a price, ordering date or customer delivery schedule. The 2026 reference is a planned reveal, not a confirmed date for first deliveries. Until Bentley publishes dated market-specific specifications and sales information, those details remain unconfirmed.

Is EXP 15 the production electric Bentley?
No. Bentley describes EXP 15 as a design vision, not a car intended for production or sale. The company says the concept may provide hints about future Bentley design, including the first fully electric car it expected to reveal in 2026. Its design or concept details should not be treated as Torcal production specifications.

Bentley’s 2025 Sustainability Report says it lengthened its electrification timeline because of changes in the political landscape, slower-than-desired progress in technology and infrastructure, and changing customer sentiment. It says a new completion date has not yet been set, even as the company remains on track for the 2026 reveal of its first fully electric Bentley. The report’s broader timing should be distinguished from the planned reveal of an individual vehicle.
