Dongfeng Motors Philippines has launched the all-electric Mage at the 2026 Philippine EV Summit with a reported retail price of Php 1,398,000. The compact crossover claims up to 530 km per charge on the CLTC test cycle, uses a 61.83-kWh liquid-cooled LFP battery and supports a reported 30-to-80% DC fast-charge session in 20 minutes. Those are launch specifications rather than guarantees of Philippine road range or charging time.
The Mage is aimed at private drivers as well as rental, taxi and TNVS operators. Buyers should verify the final variant’s safety equipment, AC charging specifications, warranty paperwork and dealer price because published Philippine reports contain several discrepancies and the model was not yet shown on Dongfeng’s online price-list page checked on October 27, 2026.

What is the Dongfeng Mage EV?
The Mage EV is the battery-electric version of the Aeolus Mage nameplate. Philippine launch coverage describes it as a compact crossover or compact SUV with front-wheel drive and five seats. Dongfeng positions it for everyday private use and commercial operation, including rental, taxi and TNVS work.

How much is the Dongfeng Mage EV in the Philippines?
The reported launch price is Php 1,398,000. That figure comes from Philippine launch and dealer reports and should be treated as the reported introductory retail price, not a permanent national price.
Dongfeng’s official Philippine price-list page checked on October 27, 2026 listed other electric models but not the Mage EV and warns that prices can change without prior notice. Ask a dealer for a current written quotation, registration charges, insurance, accessories and any financing conditions before paying a reservation fee.
Does the Mage EV really get 530 km?
Dongfeng’s quoted maximum is 530 km on the CLTC cycle. CLTC is a laboratory test procedure, so the number is useful for comparing vehicles that use the same cycle but is not a guaranteed distance on Philippine roads.
Traffic, speed, air-conditioning use, passengers, cargo, hills, rain and battery temperature can all reduce the distance available between charges. No independent Philippine road-test result was reported in the launch coverage, so buyers should plan around their own daily route and charging access rather than treating 530 km as a fixed Manila driving range.

How fast does the Mage EV charge?
CarGuide.PH and TopGear Philippines report a DC fast-charge window of 30% to 80% in 20 minutes. Newsbytes.PH gives an approximate 30-minute figure and notes that battery condition and charging equipment affect the result, so an actual session may be longer.

ZigWheels Philippines reports wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto and a wireless smartphone charging pad. TopGear Philippines, however, says the car has no wireless charger. Because those reports conflict, treat wireless-phone features as variant-dependent until Dongfeng provides a Philippine specification sheet.
How safe is the Philippine Mage EV?
Published equipment lists disagree on the airbag count. TopGear Philippines describes two airbags for the driver and front passenger, ZigWheels lists dual front airbags, while CarGuide.PH lists four SRS airbags.

CarGuide.PH reports an 18-month or 15,000-km Protech preventive-maintenance interval, a 10-year unlimited-mileage battery warranty and a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty. These are reported terms; Dongfeng’s canonical warranty document was not available in the consulted launch material.
