Aston Martin’s 2026 range covers several different kinds of performance car, not one single sports-car class: Vantage is the focused two-seat coupe, DB12 is the roomier 2+2 Super Tourer, Vanquish is the front-mid-engine V12 GT, DBX is the SUV, and Valhalla is a mid-engine plug-in hybrid supercar. The manufacturer’s current US range page also presents Valkyrie, Valour and Valiant, but it is a mix of model families, derivatives and special cars—not a definitive worldwide 2026 order book.
How to read Aston Martin’s 2026 lineup
The useful comparison is what each car is built to do, rather than a simple ranking by speed. Vantage and DB12 are both front-engine V8 coupes, but one prioritizes a two-seat sports-car layout while the other adds occasional rear seats and a touring emphasis. Vanquish occupies the flagship GT role with a V12. DBX brings performance to an SUV body, while Valhalla is a mid-engine hybrid supercar.
Aston Martin’s current US range page lists these families alongside Valkyrie, Valour and Valiant. Because the page includes derivatives and special models and does not define a market-by-market model-year inventory, it should be read as the range the company currently presents—not proof that every entry is available to order in every country. Vantage vs DB12 vs Vanquish: what separates them?
Vantage: the most focused conventional sports car
The Vantage is the clearest fit for a driver seeking a traditional two-seat sports coupe in Aston Martin’s main range. Its official US specification identifies a front-mid-mounted 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and rear-wheel drive. Unlike the DB12, it does not trade its two-seat layout for a 2+2 cabin. DB12: a 2+2 for faster touring
The DB12 keeps a twin-turbo V8 but changes the brief: Aston Martin describes it as a two-door 2+2 Super Tourer. The range includes coupe and Volante body styles, as well as DB12 S derivatives. Its rear seats make the cabin more flexible than the Vantage’s two-seat configuration, though the 2+2 designation should not be taken to mean a full-size rear passenger space. Vanquish: the V12 flagship GT
Vanquish is a two-seat grand tourer with a front-mid-mounted 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 and rear-wheel drive. Aston Martin’s US specifications give it 835 PS, 1,000 Nm, a 0–62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 214 mph. Those figures distinguish its flagship powertrain and high-speed GT role; they do not turn it into a direct substitute for the smaller, two-seat Vantage or the 2+2 DB12. Vanquish US specifications
Where DBX and Valhalla fit
DBX: performance in an SUV format
DBX is the range’s SUV branch, with DBX707 and DBX S among the versions Aston Martin presents. The DBX S page lists 727 PS system output, 900 Nm and a modified nine-speed wet-clutch transmission. Aston Martin’s page also calls it Top Gear’s 2026 Super SUV of the Year; that is the manufacturer’s presentation of the accolade, rather than an independent assessment in this article. DBX model page

Valhalla: a mid-engine plug-in hybrid supercar
Valhalla is the outlier in the lineup’s architecture: Aston Martin calls it its first mid-engine PHEV supercar. The company’s UK specification page lists 1,079 PS combined power, 0–62 mph in 2.5 seconds, a 217 mph maximum speed and a 999-unit production limit. Aston Martin Lagonda’s 2025 annual report said 152 Valhalla units were wholesaled in 2025 and forecast approximately 500 more deliveries in 2026. What is specifically new or relevant for 2026?
In a 29 June 2026 announcement about the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Aston Martin named DB12 S, Vantage S and DBX S as new S models due to appear at the event. The same announcement also named Valkyrie, Valhalla and Vanquish in its event lineup. This establishes a 2026 context for those models and derivatives, but does not by itself establish worldwide dealer availability, order timing or identical specifications across markets. The company’s 2025 annual report describes the S suffix as a tradition for high-performance derivatives and says it introduced Vantage S, DBX S and DB12 S. Which Aston Martin models are available in 2026?
Aston Martin’s current US range page is the clearest starting point for the company’s presented lineup, but it is not a global availability list. The 2026 Goodwood announcement confirms the company’s event plans, not retail status in every market. Buyers should check their country’s Aston Martin site or dealer for the model year, derivative, specification and ordering status applicable to them; a model being listed or shown at an event does not mean it is generally available to order.
