What is the Xiaomi SU7?
The SU7 is Xiaomi’s first production vehicle and the model that established Xiaomi EV. It is an electric sedan designed around the company’s “Human × Car × Home” ecosystem, linking Xiaomi phones, smart-home devices, software and in-car services. Calling it Xiaomi’s “first-ever car” should be understood as the first production car, not necessarily the first concept or vehicle-related partnership associated with the company. #1 Best Overall
- This scale model captures the timeless appeal of a classic automobile in fine detail, faithfully reproducing the shape and silhouette of the real car. It is made of zinc alloy and utilizes a die-casting process for a smooth surface and thick texture. Attention to detail gives it the realism that collectors seek, making it an elegant model car collectible, perfect for adult enthusiasts to collect, use as interior decoration, or as a great gift for friends and family.
- The density of zinc alloy gives the model impact resistance. Even if dropped from a moderate height, the metal frame and rubber tires work together to absorb the impact force, reducing the risk of damage to core components.
- The rear of the miniature car model is full and powerful, with smooth lines connecting the rear bumper and taillights. The taillight design echoes the headlights, creating a beautiful overall effect.
- As a precious model for car model collectors, it is an important addition to any collection. Its uniqueness speaks for itself; once incorporated into a collection, it adds rare value to the entire series, making it highly cherished.
- This scale model captures the timeless charm of a much-loved vintage automobile in fine detail. It faithfully reproduces the original shape and contours of the real car, condensing its beautiful design into a single model.
Original 2024 SU7 versions and prices
The following were the original mainland-China starting prices announced for the first-generation range. They are not U.S. or European retail prices and do not include shipping, taxes, tariffs, certification, registration, servicing or warranty costs.
| Version | Mainland-China starting price | Position |
|---|---|---|
| SU7 | RMB 215,900 | Rear-wheel-drive entry version |
| SU7 Pro | RMB 245,900 | Longer-range, higher-spec version |

These prices are documented in Xiaomi’s filing and launch material. Corporate filing · Original SU7 product announcement
What the original SU7 Max offered
Xiaomi’s launch presentation gave the first-generation SU7 Max these headline manufacturer figures:
- Up to 800 km CLTC range.
- 2.78 seconds from 0–100 km/h.
- 265 km/h top speed.
- 673 PS maximum output.
- 838 N·m peak torque.
CLTC is China’s testing cycle; it is not an EPA rating and should not be treated as guaranteed real-world range elsewhere. Xiaomi’s entry SU7 used rear-wheel drive and an LFP battery supplied by BYD in the initial specification reported by specialist coverage, a detail that should not automatically be applied to every later model year or trim. What changed with the new-generation SU7 in 2026?
Xiaomi describes the March 2026 car as a new generation rather than merely a cosmetic facelift. It retained the three-trim structure but changed the pricing, powertrain, charging, computing, sensing and software package.

|---|---|---|
| Standard | RMB 219,900 | 720 km |
| Pro | RMB 249,900 | 902 km |
| Max | RMB 303,900 | 835 km |
Other specifications Xiaomi lists for the 2026 lineup include:

- Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus motors across the range.
- Up to 670 km of claimed CLTC range added in 15 minutes, with a maximum 5.2C charging rate.
- 10–80% charging in as little as 12 minutes when compatible high-power infrastructure and Xiaomi’s specified conditions are available.
- NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor assisted-driving computing hardware, LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, 11 high-definition cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars on the stated lineup.

These are Xiaomi’s published specifications and claims, not independent road tests, crash-test results or a guarantee of charging performance in every climate or on every charger. Xiaomi’s 2026 SU7 announcement

Why the first SU7 mattered to Xiaomi
The SU7 marked Xiaomi’s move from consumer electronics into vehicle manufacturing. Its pitch combined aggressive China-market pricing with phone integration, large displays, connected services, smart-home controls and driver-assistance hardware. The launch also gave Xiaomi a physical centerpiece for its broader “Human × Car × Home” strategy rather than treating the car as a standalone gadget.
Can you buy a Xiaomi SU7 in the United States or Europe?
Not through an official Xiaomi vehicle-sales channel, based on Xiaomi’s current announcement. The company states that the new-generation SU7 is offered only in mainland China. Xiaomi’s global electronics presence should not be confused with global SU7 sales. Official availability statement
An importer may advertise a Chinese-market car, but that is not the same as an authorized Xiaomi sale. A grey-market buyer could face:
- Local certification, registration and insurance obstacles.
- Charging-connector, voltage, payment-network or public-charging incompatibility.
- Chinese-language maps, voice services and software that do not localize cleanly.
- No local warranty, authorized repair network, parts supply or roadside assistance.
- Uncertain software updates and resale support.
“Available in the U.S.” or “available in Europe” therefore needs independent proof of legal registration, authorization and after-sales support; an online importer’s listing alone does not establish any of those things.

Quick Recap
How to interpret SU7 specifications responsibly
- Keep the 2024 first-generation and 2026 new-generation figures separate.
- Keep “SU7” (the family name), the base trim and the generation distinction clear.
- Attach CLTC to every range figure; do not convert it directly into EPA range.
- Treat acceleration, charging, safety and assisted-driving numbers as manufacturer claims unless independent testing is cited.
- Driver-assistance sensors do not make the car autonomous; use “assisted driving” rather than “self-driving.”
- Use RMB China-market prices instead of presenting an exchange-rate conversion as a local retail price.
