The Timex Deepwater Meridian 200 38mm (TW2Y40400) is a quartz dive-style watch with a 200 m water-resistance rating, sapphire crystal and rubber strap. Gear Patrol reported the light-blue version at $202 with code Autumn25 during Timex’s Autumn Sale, 25% below its listed $269 price. Timex’s retrieved listing still shows $269 and does not confirm the sale checkout price or end date, so check the live total before buying.
What the Deepwater Meridian 200 offers
Timex identifies TW2Y40400 as the Deepwater Meridian 200 38mm HNBR Rubber Strap Watch. It is an analog quartz model, not an automatic watch. Its compact case and conventional quartz movement make it a straightforward option for daily wear, while the bezel, luminous markers and manufacturer-stated water rating give it familiar dive-watch styling and utility.
| Specification | Timex listing |
|---|---|
| Case | 38 mm stainless steel; 11 mm high |
| Weight | 67.14 g |
| Movement | Quartz analog |
| Crystal | Sapphire |
| Strap | Blue HNBR rubber; 18 mm band width |
| Water resistance | 200 m, per Timex |
Timex lists a screw-down crown and screw-on case back. The unidirectional ratcheting bezel has a 60-minute track and luminous pip, while Super-LumiNova-filled hands and hour markers help with low-light legibility. Gear Patrol also notes the light-blue version’s wave-textured dial. These are useful dive-watch features, but the available sources do not establish an independent certification or provide hands-on test results.
What the 200 m rating means—and what Timex says it is for
Timex says the watch is suitable for “swimming, snorkelling, surfing and recreational scuba-diving.” That is the manufacturer’s stated guidance, not an independent test result. Timex also warns against pressing buttons underwater. Follow the manufacturer’s care and use instructions, and ensure the crown is secured as directed before exposing the watch to water.

Is the reported Autumn Sale price still available?
Gear Patrol reported on October 1, 2026 that the light-blue TW2Y40400 cost $202 after applying code Autumn25, a 25% discount from the $269 listed price. The report says the navy-blue version was excluded. Timex’s official product listing, as retrieved, shows $269 and promotional messaging but does not establish the discounted checkout amount or sale expiration. The deal is therefore not confirmed as active: select the light-blue model and check whether the code applies to the final checkout total before relying on the reported price.

Who should consider this watch?
The Meridian makes sense for someone who wants a relatively compact 38 mm quartz watch with a rubber strap, sapphire crystal and dive-watch design, and who values a manufacturer-stated 200 m rating. It may be less suitable if you specifically want an automatic movement, a metal bracelet, or proof of independent dive-watch certification. Timex’s collection also includes the Deepwater Reef 200 and Harborside Coast, but the available information does not provide a like-for-like specification comparison; compare each exact model’s size, movement, water-use rating, crystal, bezel, strap and live price before choosing.
