Which Chinese motorcycle should you buy?
CFMOTO 450MT: best lightweight adventure value
The 450MT is the most balanced recommendation for riders who want an approachable adventure motorcycle without moving to a large, heavy platform. Its 21/18-inch wheel combination, switchable ABS and traction control suit broken pavement and light trails, while the 17.5-litre tank and TFT make it practical for touring. Moto.it recorded 2,371 Italian registrations in 2025, the highest result among the Chinese models covered here.

It is a strong first choice when your priorities are manageable mass, useful range and a broad mix of road and unpaved riding. The Italian promotion is a one-time market offer, so do not assume the same price in another country.
#1 Best Overall
- Entry-Level Sport Bike Design: The HHH Upgraded 250cc Motorcycle GTX 250 with EFI features a 6 speed manual transmission, hydraulic disc brakes (dual front), and 17-inch wheels with street tires
- Altitude Adaptability with EFI: Electronic Fuel Injection automatically compensates for changes in altitude by sensing air temperature and density, eliminating the need to manually adjust carburetors jetting at different elevations
- Enhanced Throttle Response: By delivering fuel directly into the combustion chamber in response to the rider's input, the EFI system eliminates throttle lag associated with carburetors, resulting in smoother and more instantaneous acceleration with dual front headlights and sporty styling
- Zongshen Engine with EFI Technology: HHH GTX 250 is powered by a Zongshen-brand engine and uses electronic fuel injection for better performance and fuel economy with high power output
- Easier Starting System: The EFI system optimizes fuel delivery for ambient conditions, ensuring reliable and easy engine starts, especially in cold weather, without the need for a manual choke
Benelli TRK 702/X: best mid-size touring choice
The TRK 702/X is the better fit for long road trips, frequent passenger use and riders who value touring equipment over minimum weight. The X version’s 19/17-inch wheels are aimed at mixed surfaces, while cruise control, traction control and optional luggage support sustained highway travel. Its 20-litre tank also reduces the need for frequent fuel stops.
With 2,132 Italian registrations in 2025, it has demonstrated substantial demand in that market. Confirm which version, luggage package and warranty coverage your importer actually supplies.
Voge Brivido 125 R: best A1 urban naked
The Brivido 125 R targets commuting and entry-level riding. At 129kg, it is easy to manoeuvre in traffic and parking spaces; ABS, LED lighting and a USB port address the essentials for daily use. Its 15hp output may sit near or above the limit of some A1 licensing systems, so check the homologated power figure and your local licence rules rather than relying on the model name.

Voge Valico 625DSX: best A2 crossover
The 625DSX is aimed at riders who want one motorcycle for commuting, weekend trips and moderate adventure use. Its 19/17-inch wheels, riding modes, traction control and cruise control give it a wider operating envelope than a basic road bike. Check whether your country offers an A2-compliant restriction; the listed 63.9hp output is not automatically A2-legal in unrestricted form.
It recorded 1,515 Italian registrations in 2025. The €6,390 Italian promotion is not a guaranteed export price.
Voge Valico 900DSX: most feature-rich maxi-adventure
The 900DSX is for riders who want a large adventure platform with a long equipment list. KYB suspension and Brembo brakes are paired with cruise control, radar blind-spot information, a dashcam, heated grips and seat, and app connectivity. Those features can make cold-weather touring and daily use easier, but they also add electronic systems that should be covered clearly by the local warranty.

Voge Valico 525DSX: A2-oriented alternative
The 525DSX is the practical option for riders who want twin-cylinder smoothness and touring range while staying closer to the A2 category. Its stated 350km range and 17-litre tank favor distance riding. Confirm the exact restricted output and approval paperwork in your market before buying.
It registered 1,253 units in Italy in 2025. No price was established in the available product information.
Kove 450 Rally: best rally-focused option
The Kove 450 Rally prioritizes low mass and off-road hardware. KYB suspension, Nissin brakes and Bosch ABS are the important specification points for riders who plan serious unpaved travel. The approximately €9,499 figure reported by Throttle Times is indicative, not a universal retail price.

Throttle Times cites approximately 52hp. That exceeds the European Union A2 ceiling of 35kW, so confirm the motorcycle’s certified power and the licence category required where you live.

QJMotor SRK 1051 RR: most ambitious performance newcomer
The SRK 1051 RR is the outlier in this list: a Euro 5+ inline-four sports motorcycle with 144hp and a 215kg ready-to-ride weight. It is relevant to riders seeking outright performance rather than adventure versatility or beginner friendliness.
Its roughly €13,000 price is an estimate based on the SRK 921 RR, not a price confirmed by QJMotor. Wait for an official market announcement, specification sheet and warranty terms before treating it as a purchase option.
Zontes 368: connected urban scooter candidate
The Zontes 368 is a scooter rather than a conventional motorcycle, but it belongs on an urban shortlist because of its integrated equipment. The official product information lists GPS and Bluetooth, TFT/DVR functions, tyre-pressure monitoring, keyless control, app control and provision for a top case and heated accessories, alongside dual-channel ABS.
Those features make it attractive for commuting and city travel. Verify software support, app availability and replacement costs with the local distributor; connected functions can vary by region.

What is new for 2026?
A report by Cadena SER dated 29 January 2026 describes a Spanish wave of A2 and mid-size launches, with introductions staggered from spring through autumn. It identifies the CFMOTO 675 NK as already available through dealers and lists the Voge RR660S (99hp), Voge CU625 V-twin cruiser, Benelli Leoncino Bobber 400 and QJMotor proposals among the additions.
Because those launches do not arrive in every country at the same time, check three items before making travel plans or paying a reservation:
- Whether the model has local homologation and can be registered.
- When demonstrators and customer deliveries are actually scheduled.
- Whether the advertised specification is the same as the version approved for your market.
How to compare Chinese motorcycles fairly
Brand nationality is a poor substitute for a buying checklist. Compare the motorcycle you can actually register and support locally using these criteria:
- Licence class: Match certified power and restrictions to A1, A2 or full-A rules. In the EU, A2 is capped at 35kW; the Kove’s cited output is a specific warning that model names do not establish eligibility.
- Engine, mass and mission: A lighter 450-class bike is easier on trails and in traffic; a 700–900cc twin offers more load and passenger reserve; an inline-four performance bike serves a different purpose.
- Wheels and suspension: A 21/18 or 19/17 combination generally indicates more uneven-surface intent than street-biased wheels. Ask for suspension travel and payload figures when they are not published in the sales material.
- Braking and rider aids: Check whether ABS is switchable, whether traction control is standard, and whether cruise control or radar equipment is included on the exact trim.
- Connectivity: TFT screens, apps, GPS, dashcams and tyre-pressure monitoring are useful only if the software, maps and replacement modules are supported in your country.
- Luggage and accessories: Confirm rack compatibility, pannier availability, passenger payload and whether heated equipment is factory-supported.
- Total price: Add delivery, registration, taxes, luggage and any required restriction kit to the advertised list price. Promotions in Italy cannot be assumed elsewhere.
- Dealer and parts support: Ask the selling dealer for current parts lead times, technician training, warranty claim procedure and stock of service items.
Are Chinese motorcycles reliable?
The available evidence does not include a controlled, long-term reliability study for these models. Registration totals show that buyers are choosing them, and the cited specifications show substantial equipment, but neither proves durability or resale performance.
Reliability, resale value, parts availability and warranty response depend heavily on the importer and country. Before buying, ask the dealer for the written warranty, service intervals, coverage for electronic components, expected parts lead times and the process for handling a claim. Ángel López de los Reyes told Cadena SER, “Cuando quieren hacer las cosas bien, sacan productos de una calidad muy alta” (“When they want to do things properly, they produce very high-quality products”). He also advised, “Lo importante ahora es mirar componentes y equipamiento, no solo la marca” (“What matters now is looking at components and equipment, not just the brand”). On support, he said, “Antes había dudas con estas marcas, sobre todo por el recambio. Ahora la respuesta es rápida y los concesionarios tienen stock” (“There used to be doubts about these brands, especially spare parts. Now the response is quick and dealers have stock”). Those observations are qualitative, not a substitute for checking your own dealer’s inventory and response times.
Bottom line for a purchase decision
Choose the CFMOTO 450MT for the broadest lightweight adventure value, the Benelli TRK 702/X for road touring, and the Voge Valico 625DSX for a crossover that can suit an A2-oriented buyer if the local restriction is approved. The Brivido 125 R is the urban entry pick, while the 900DSX and SRK 1051 RR are specialist choices whose extra equipment or performance makes local warranty and support checks especially important. Confirm homologation, price, stock and parts support with a dealer in your country before signing.
