The QX65 is a retail model; Vision QXe is not. Nissan and INFINITI named FY28 for the future EV in a March 2025 plan, but that dated plan is not proof of a confirmed on-sale date today.
What is the 2027 INFINITI QX65?
INFINITI positions the QX65 as a stylish two-row midsize crossover inspired by the FX. The production vehicle follows the QX65 Monograph concept unveiled at The Quail during Monterey Car Week on August 15, 2025. That Monograph previewed a fastback roofline and design direction; it was explicitly a concept, not a vehicle available for purchase. Is the QX65 electric?
No. The listed U.S. QX65 trims use a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. INFINITI lists 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque for each trim. The QX65 is not the Vision QXe and is not identified as an e-POWER vehicle. INFINITI QX65 specifications

The trims share the listed powertrain, so the price steps primarily reflect equipment and presentation rather than a higher-output engine. INFINITI’s specification page identifies differences in cabin materials and comfort features, wheel size, and parking-camera equipment. Check the current build details for the exact vehicle: equipment and available options can vary, and a trim name alone does not establish that every feature is standard on every unit. Published dimensions and capacity
INFINITI publishes a length of 198.5 inches, width of 77.9 inches, height of 69.7 inches, and cargo volume of 35.8 cubic feet. The manufacturer also lists towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds. These are manufacturer-published specifications; actual capacity and configuration can depend on equipment and vehicle setup. When is INFINITI’s electric crossover coming?
The electric vehicle is a separate project from the QX65. Vision QXe is an all-electric crossover concept, and Nissan and INFINITI’s North American product-plan announcement on March 26, 2025, said a luxury INFINITI EV SUV inspired by Vision QXe would join the future lineup in FY28. That is the timeframe stated in the 2025 announcement—not a precise calendar launch date or evidence that a retail on-sale date has since been reconfirmed. The plan also announced the QX65 crossover coupe, which is now represented by a U.S. model page and specifications. What does the comeback claim actually establish?
INFINITI has announced a product-renewal effort that includes a new two-row QX65 and a planned electric SUV. Those product pages do not establish that a commercial comeback has succeeded. They do not by themselves measure sales growth, market share, consumer demand, or reliability. The defensible description is a product-renewal plan with an active QX65 retail listing and a separately planned EV—not a proven recovery.
