TAG Heuer replaced Rolex as Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper for the 2025 season, while seven of the 10 constructors had identified official watch-brand partnerships. The team-level pairings were Richard Mille with McLaren and Ferrari, TAG Heuer with Oracle Red Bull Racing, IWC Schaffhausen with Mercedes, Girard-Perregaux with Aston Martin, H. Moser & Cie. with Alpine, and Tudor with Racing Bulls.
Haas, Williams, and Kick Sauber had no official watch sponsor identified. The list below separates championship-wide timekeeping, constructor sponsorships, broader motorsport partnerships, product collaborations, and driver-only or fictional-team associations.

The complete 2025 Formula 1 watch-sponsorship map
Seven of the 10 constructors had an identified official watch-brand relationship during the 2025 season. Those relationships involved six watch brands because Richard Mille partnered with both McLaren and Ferrari, while TAG Heuer had a team deal with Red Bull as well as Formula 1’s championship-wide timekeeping role.
The headline change was TAG Heuer replacing Rolex as Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper. At team level, the active pairings were Richard Mille with McLaren and Ferrari, TAG Heuer with Oracle Red Bull Racing, IWC Schaffhausen with Mercedes, Girard-Perregaux with Aston Martin, H. Moser & Cie. with Alpine, and Tudor with Racing Bulls. Haas, Williams, and Kick Sauber had no official watch sponsor identified in the 2025 sponsorship map.

Scope: “Watch sponsor” here means either Formula 1’s documented championship-wide timekeeping partner or a publicly documented official partnership between a watchmaker and an active 2025 constructor. Driver-only watch deals, informal appearances, and fictional teams are not counted as constructor sponsorships.
TAG Heuer became Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper
TAG Heuer returned as Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper at the start of the 2025 season. The arrangement formed part of Formula 1’s new 10-year global partnership with LVMH and gave TAG Heuer visibility across the circuit, Fan Zones, the Paddock Club, and product activations. Formula 1’s announcement of TAG Heuer’s return describes the timekeeping role and the wider commercial agreement.
This ended Rolex’s run as Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper, which lasted from 2013 through 2024. Longines and Hublot remain important names in the history of F1 timekeeping, but neither should be listed as the championship’s confirmed timekeeping partner for 2025. The historical transition is summarized in specialist coverage of the 2025 F1 watch-sponsorship landscape.
TAG Heuer’s F1 product ecosystem in 2025 extended beyond one model. Formula 1’s official partner information identifies the brand’s Formula 1, Monaco, and Carrera collections in connection with its championship role. If you are shopping for the most direct consumer product associated with this story, a TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch is the obvious starting point; model, seller, price, and availability vary by market.

TAG Heuer also remained Oracle Red Bull Racing’s watch partner
TAG Heuer’s championship-wide role did not replace its separate relationship with Oracle Red Bull Racing. The partnership began in 2016 and continued through 2025, with TAG Heuer listed among the team’s partners and associated with co-branded Formula 1 watches. The team’s official partner listing confirms the team-level relationship.
That gives TAG Heuer two different positions in the same season:

These are separate commercial roles, so the overlap is not a contradiction and does not mean every team on the grid used TAG Heuer.

McLaren: Richard Mille
Richard Mille’s relationship with McLaren began in 2016 and continued during the 2025 season. Richard Mille describes it as a 10-year McLaren F1 partnership built around lightweight materials, engineering, precision, and technical innovation. The brand’s official McLaren partnership page documents the collaboration.
This is more than a conventional logo-placement arrangement. The partnership has produced technically focused co-branded watches, including the RM 50-03, developed with McLaren F1 and the University of Manchester. A prominent later example is the RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph McLaren W1, which connects the watchmaker’s high-frequency chronograph work with McLaren’s road-car and racing identity.
The RM 65-01 McLaren W1 is useful evidence of the partnership’s continuing product ecosystem, but it should not be described as a new 2025 launch solely because it was associated with the partnership during the 2025 season. The sponsorship was active in 2025; that does not make every associated watch a 2025 release.

Ferrari: Richard Mille
Ferrari’s official watch partner in 2025 was also Richard Mille. The relationship began in 2021 after Ferrari’s previous 10-year association with Hublot ended. Richard Mille’s Ferrari connection has produced watches such as the RM UP-01 Ferrari, an ultra-thin technical model carrying Ferrari branding.
The Ferrari deal should be kept separate from driver-level endorsements. Lewis Hamilton joined Ferrari for the 2025 season, but a watch brand associated with Hamilton personally does not automatically become Ferrari’s official team watch sponsor. The defensible constructor-level answer is Richard Mille, as reflected in the specialist 2025 sponsorship inventory.
Mercedes-AMG Petronas: IWC Schaffhausen
IWC Schaffhausen has been Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s Official Engineering Partner since 2013. The relationship continued in 2025 and was marked by a new team watch: the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, reference IW328210.
The 40mm watch uses a titanium case, a black dial with Petronas-green details, and a matching green rubber strap. IWC’s 2025 team-watch announcement says the watch was intended for trackside use by Mercedes team members, including mechanics, engineers, and race strategists.
That team-wear element makes the Mercedes-IWC relationship unusually visible. It connects the product to the working race operation rather than limiting the partnership to a watch worn by a driver or displayed in a hospitality area.

Aston Martin Aramco: Girard-Perregaux
Girard-Perregaux continued its official watch partnership with Aston Martin Aramco in 2025. The relationship began in 2021 and had been extended beyond the 2025 season. Its product collaborations included the Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition and the Laureato Absolute Aston Martin F1 Edition.
The design language is deliberately aligned with Aston Martin’s racing identity. Green dials and green ceramic elements echo the team’s familiar racing color, while the partnership messaging emphasizes shared innovation and technical expertise. Girard-Perregaux’s Aston Martin Laureato material provides an official example of the collaboration.
No reliable public source in this research disclosed the sponsorship fee, so claims about the value of the Girard-Perregaux deal or its commercial performance should not be inferred from the product prices.

H. Moser & Cie. became Alpine Motorsports’ first Global Partner in 2024 and remained a partner during the 2025 season. This relationship covered more than the BWT Alpine F1 Team: it also included Alpine’s endurance program, the Alpine Academy, and other Alpine motorsport activities.
Moser’s official description presents the arrangement as a technical and cultural exchange as well as a sponsorship. It included an exchange program between Alpine’s technical center in Enstone and Moser’s manufacture in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. The collaboration also produced Alpine-themed Streamliner watches, including blue and pink editions reflecting Alpine’s identity and BWT-associated livery.
That wording matters. H. Moser & Cie. was Alpine Motorsports’ Global Partner, not simply an F1 “official timekeeper.” The F1 team was a major part of the deal, but the partnership’s documented scope was the wider Alpine motorsport organization. Moser explains the arrangement in its Alpine Motorsports partnership overview.
Racing Bulls: Tudor
Tudor joined the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team as an official partner for the 2024 season, and the relationship continued into 2025 as the team competed under the Racing Bulls identity. Tudor’s original announcement described branding on the car and the drivers’ race suits and positioned the deal as the brand’s return to Formula 1 motorsport.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

Tudor’s official partnership press release is the strongest source for the original deal, while its team partnership page reflects the continuing relationship. Some Tudor pages now foreground the 2026 continuation, so the 2025 claim is best established using the 2024 announcement together with contemporary 2025 coverage.

The three 2025 teams without an identified official watch sponsor
“No sponsor” needs careful wording here. It means no official constructor-level watch partner was identified in the public 2025 sponsorship inventories used for this article. It does not rule out a driver’s personal ambassador agreement, a private watch worn by an employee, or a late announcement that was not reflected in those inventories.
Haas
Haas had no affiliated watch brand identified for 2025. The team had previously been associated with Cyrus and, earlier, Richard Mille, but those relationships were not active in the 2025 map.
Atlassian Williams
Williams also had no official watch sponsor identified for 2025. Its former Bremont relationship was listed as ending in 2023. The team’s 2025 title partnership with Atlassian was a technology partnership, not a watch deal, so Atlassian should not be included in a watch-sponsor list.

Kick Sauber
Kick Sauber likewise had no official watch partner identified for the 2025 season. Its earlier relationship with Rebellion Timepieces was no longer active, and the team entered 2025 as a transitional operation ahead of its future Audi identity.
The former-partner context for Haas, Williams, and Kick Sauber is also covered in specialist watch reporting, including Time+Tide’s 2025 F1 watch list.
Brands and relationships not to count as 2025 constructor sponsorships
| Brand or relationship | Why it is not counted in the 2025 team map |
|---|---|
| Rolex | Its Formula 1 Official Timekeeper period ended after the 2024 season. |
| Longines | Relevant to an earlier F1 timekeeping era, not the confirmed 2025 arrangement. |
| Hublot | Historically associated with F1 timekeeping and formerly associated with Ferrari, but not an active 2025 championship-wide or Ferrari team partner in this map. |
| Bremont | Williams’ former relationship ended before the 2025 season. |
| Rebellion Timepieces | Kick Sauber’s earlier relationship was no longer active in 2025. |
| Cyrus | A former Haas association, not an identified 2025 Haas sponsorship. |
| APXGP and IWC | IWC’s connection to the APXGP team belongs to the fictional team in the film F1, not an eleventh real-world F1 constructor. |
IWC’s own entertainment-related material discusses the APXGP connection, but the film partnership should remain separate from Mercedes’ real 2025 team relationship. It is an adjacent watch-and-motorsport marketing collaboration, not a championship entry.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What counts as an F1 watch sponsorship?
The 2025 map becomes easier to understand when four different types of association are separated:
- Championship-wide role: TAG Heuer was Formula 1’s Official Timekeeper, a relationship covering the championship rather than one constructor.
- Constructor partnership: Richard Mille-McLaren, Richard Mille-Ferrari, TAG Heuer-Red Bull, IWC-Mercedes, Girard-Perregaux-Aston Martin, and Tudor-Racing Bulls were team-level relationships.
- Broader motorsport partnership: H. Moser & Cie. was Alpine Motorsports’ first Global Partner, covering F1 and other Alpine programs.
- Product collaboration: A co-branded watch demonstrates a commercial relationship, but its launch date should not automatically be treated as the start date of the sponsorship.
A fifth category is driver association. A driver may wear or promote a watch brand independently of the constructor’s official partners. That individual relationship cannot be used to add another team sponsor to the list, and it should not be assumed that every watch seen on a driver was supplied under the team deal.

Bottom line
For the 2025 Formula 1 season, TAG Heuer was the headline brand because it replaced Rolex as Official Timekeeper and simultaneously continued its Oracle Red Bull Racing partnership. At constructor level, seven teams had identified official watch-brand relationships: McLaren and Ferrari with Richard Mille, Red Bull with TAG Heuer, Mercedes with IWC, Aston Martin with Girard-Perregaux, Alpine with H. Moser & Cie., and Racing Bulls with Tudor. Haas, Williams, and Kick Sauber had no official watch sponsor identified.
The most important qualification is that F1 watch visibility comes from several different arrangements. A championship timekeeper, a constructor partner, a broader motorsport global partner, a co-branded product, and a driver’s personal deal are not interchangeable categories.

Frequently Asked Questions
Was TAG Heuer the watch sponsor of every 2025 F1 team?
TAG Heuer was Formula 1’s championship-wide Official Timekeeper in 2025 and also remained a team partner and timing partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing. Those were two separate commercial roles, so TAG Heuer’s presence at both levels was not contradictory.
