What “available in 2024” means here
A 2024 model-year claim refers to the manufacturer’s model-year documentation, as with the Camaro, Kona Electric and Lexus models. The MINI entry is different: it is a U.K. product launch announced during calendar year 2024, not proof that every MINI carrying that paint was labeled model year 2024.
Paint availability can also change during a model year. A color may be restricted by body style, trim, drivetrain, production month or an order-bank closing date. Confirm the exact vehicle identification number, build sheet or archived order guide before treating a used car’s color as a factory option.

Model-specific details
Chevrolet Camaro: Nitro Metallic Yellow
Chevrolet’s June 5, 2023 announcement for the 2024 Camaro states: “New exterior colors Riptide Blue and Nitro Metallic Yellow can be selected across all trims.” Chevrolet also renders the name as “Nitro Yellow” in some material, so both labels can appear in listings and records.
Hyundai Kona Electric: Neoteric Yellow
Hyundai’s U.S. pages for the 2024 Kona Electric SEL and Limited list Neoteric Yellow among the exterior choices. The cited pages support those two trims only; they do not establish that the color was offered on every Kona Electric version, a gasoline Kona, or vehicles sold outside the United States.

Lexus LC: Flare Yellow with an extra charge
For the 2024 U.S. LC 500 and LC 500h, Lexus identifies Flare Yellow as one of seven additional available colors and prices it at $595. That is an option charge stated by Lexus for this model-year announcement, not a universal price for other Lexus vehicles or later inventory.

The 2024 RC and RC F brochures both show Flare Yellow as an exterior color. Because brochure color charts can differ by grade and equipment package, check the specific model and configuration rather than assuming the LC’s $595 charge or eligibility applies here.

Ford Mustang: treat Yellow Splash as provisional
A copy hosted on a Mustang forum and titled “2024 Mustang Color & Trim Availability” lists Yellow Splash Metallic Tri-coat. The retrieved copy’s primary Ford provenance and final order availability were not verified, so it should be treated as a lead for checking archived Ford or dealer records, not as conclusive proof for every 2024 Mustang.
MINI Cooper: Sunny Side Yellow in the U.K.
BMW Group’s February 2024 U.K. release for the new fifth-generation petrol MINI Cooper lists Sunny Side Yellow among five exterior finishes, alongside Ocean Wave Green, and describes three trims with spring 2024 deliveries. This supports the launch example in Britain; it does not establish the same color, timing or trim range in other markets or across every 2024 MINI model.

How to verify a yellow car before buying
- Identify the exact market, model year, body style, drivetrain and trim.
- Match the manufacturer’s paint name to the vehicle’s build sheet, window sticker or paint code; a seller’s “yellow” description is not sufficient.
- Check the contemporaneous brochure, configurator archive or dealer order record for that exact configuration.
- Confirm whether the color carried an option charge or was subject to a production or order-window restriction.
- For a used vehicle, inspect the paint-code label and look for repaired or replaced panels, since a respray can change the apparent shade.
Why the names cannot be used as a color chart
Nitro Metallic Yellow, Neoteric Yellow, Flare Yellow, Yellow Splash Metallic Tri-coat and Sunny Side Yellow are separate finishes. The cited manufacturer pages establish names and eligibility, but they do not provide a standardized hue comparison under different lighting. Photographs and online listings can therefore make two factory yellows look closer—or more different—than they do in person.

These entries document 2024 factory options or a 2024 launch announcement. They do not promise current new-car supply: the Camaro ended production after the 2024 model year, and remaining-stock or used inventory varies by country and dealer. Search by the exact paint name and verify the paint code when a listing matters.
