Club Car Wash announced on October 2, 2026, that it acquired Glide Xpress Car Wash and plans to renovate 13 Mid-South locations. Existing Glide Xpress membership plans and prices are set to remain unchanged through December 31, 2027. The company says each store will close temporarily for renovation, typically for three to five days, but it has not published a location-by-location schedule.
What the acquisition means for Glide Xpress customers
Club Car Wash says Glide Xpress memberships, plans, and prices will remain unchanged through December 31, 2027. After that date, the company plans to transition customers to Club Car Wash pricing, but it has not announced what those prices will be. The announcement also does not disclose the acquisition price or other financial terms.

Club Car Wash President Collin Bartels said the company is “honored to continue building on the relationships, exceptional service, and legacy that the former business is leaving behind.” That is the company’s stated intention for the transition, not an independent assessment of future service.
When locations will close for renovations
Each acquired location is expected to close temporarily when its renovation begins. Club Car Wash says closures will typically last three to five days, after which the location is expected to reopen as a Club Car Wash. Until renovation work starts, a location is expected to operate as usual.
