This is distinct from GM Australia and New Zealand’s October 2024 release, which listed the 2025 Z06 Coupe at NZ$346,000 recommended retail price including GST but before application. One reported configuration: 3LZ Coupe
CarExpert NZ describes the local MY27 offer as a 3LZ Coupe, with each car built to a confirmed customer specification. The available report does not list the New Zealand options, deposits, allocation numbers or ordering channels. Ask an authorised local seller what specifications can be ordered and what steps are required to place an order.

LT6 V8 power
The reported New Zealand specification is a hand-assembled, naturally aspirated 5.5-litre LT6 V8 producing 475 kW at 8,550 rpm and 595 Nm at 6,300 rpm, with an 8,600 rpm redline. GM ANZ’s earlier regional Z06 release also listed 475 kW and 595 Nm for the LT6 and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission; it corroborates the regional engine figures, but is not a MY27 New Zealand order guide. When will production and deliveries begin?
According to CarExpert NZ, production is scheduled to begin at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant in the United States in January 2027. Delivery timing will depend on the selected specification and production scheduling. The report does not give individual delivery dates, so buyers should request an estimate for their intended build from a local authorised seller.

How this differs from the MY26 Bathurst edition
The MY27 order programme follows a separate, limited MY26 offer. GM ANZ said it would produce 12 individually numbered 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour Specialty Edition Z06s for Australia and New Zealand, describing them as the only MY26 Z06 allocation in those markets for that year. That edition was specified as a 3LZ Coupe with the Z07 Performance Package; it is not the configuration announcement for the MY27 order programme. Keep US specifications separate from the New Zealand offer
Chevrolet’s US 2027 Z06 page lists 670 horsepower and US-market trims and pricing. Those figures and prices should not be substituted for the New Zealand report’s 475 kW and 595 Nm or its NZ$309,990 starting price. The US page also describes available Z07 equipment, including carbon-ceramic brakes, aerodynamic components and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres; it does not confirm what is standard or optional on a New Zealand MY27 order.
