Bugatti plans production and customer deliveries from 2026, and all 250 planned production slots were allocated shortly after the reveal.
Its headline numbers are extraordinary: a naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16, three electric motors, 1,800 hp, a claimed 0–400 km/h time below 25 seconds, and a top speed of 445 km/h with the optional Speed Key. The starting price is €3.8 million net before taxes, delivery, options, and personalization.
Bugatti Tourbillon price
The Bugatti Tourbillon starts at €3.8 million net. That is the factory starting price, not the final amount a customer will pay. Taxes, registration, delivery, options, and Bugatti’s extensive Sur Mesure personalization program can add substantially to the bill.
Bugatti has not positioned the Tourbillon as a conventional supercar that buyers can configure from a dealer inventory. Each car is hand-built, and the company offers individual customization of the exterior, cabin, materials, colors, and trim. Customer configuration sessions began in 2025.

The price also needs to be considered alongside the production run: Bugatti will build only 250 examples. With those allocations reported as taken shortly after the June 2024 unveiling, the €3.8 million figure is mainly a reference point for the original customers rather than an invitation to place a new factory order.
Is the Bugatti Tourbillon a 2024 model?
Not exactly. 2024 is the reveal year. Bugatti unveiled the Tourbillon in June 2024, but production and customer deliveries belong to the 2026 program. Calling it a “2024 Bugatti Tourbillon” is understandable when discussing the launch, but it can incorrectly suggest that production cars were available that year.
The Tourbillon replaces the Chiron and represents a major mechanical change for Bugatti. Instead of the Chiron’s W16, it uses a naturally aspirated V16 supported by a plug-in hybrid system.
Availability and production status
Bugatti has limited production to 250 hand-built cars. The company announced that all production slots had been allocated shortly after the reveal. That means the original factory allocation is effectively sold out unless an existing customer’s slot becomes available through Bugatti.

As of Bugatti’s August 9, 2026 updates, the Tourbillon was still undergoing final validation and testing ahead of series production. Bugatti is equipping its new La Manufacture facility in Molsheim for Tourbillon production.
There is no publicly announced dealer-stock buying process for a new customer. A person trying to acquire one now should not assume that contacting an ordinary dealer will produce an unallocated car. The realistic routes are to contact Bugatti directly about a possible released allocation or look for a car through the specialist resale market once customer examples exist.
Bugatti’s published technical material also states that type approval had not yet been granted. Consequently, the performance, range, efficiency, emissions, and consumption figures should be treated as manufacturer specifications pending finalized regulatory data.

Engine and hybrid powertrain
The Tourbillon’s central feature is its 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16. It produces:

Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- 1,000 hp
- 900 Nm of torque
- A 9,000-rpm redline
The engine is paired with three electric motors. Two drive the front axle, while the third is mounted at the rear. The electric system contributes a stated 800 hp, bringing the combined system output to 1,800 hp.
Power reaches all four wheels through an eight-speed longitudinal dual-clutch transmission. The all-wheel-drive system also provides full torque vectoring, allowing the car to manage the output from both the combustion engine and the electric motors across the axles.
The hybrid system uses an 800-volt, oil-cooled battery with a gross capacity of 24.8 kWh. Bugatti described it as a 25-kWh battery in its launch announcement. The claimed electric-only range is more than 60 km, or 37 miles, on the WLTP cycle, subject to final type approval.
Bugatti Tourbillon performance
| Measure | Official claim |
|---|---|
| 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) | 2.0 seconds |
| 0–200 km/h | Under 5.0 seconds |
| 0–300 km/h | Under 10.0 seconds |
| 0–400 km/h | Under 25.0 seconds |
| Standard maximum speed | 380 km/h / 236 mph |
| Maximum with Speed Key | 445 km/h / 276 mph |
The important qualification is the top-speed figure. The Tourbillon’s standard electronically limited maximum is 380 km/h. Reaching the headline 445 km/h requires the Speed Key; it is not the car’s normal unrestricted top speed.

Dimensions and weight

|---|---|
| DIN mass | Under 1,995 kg |

| Width | 2,051 mm |
| Width with mirrors | 2,165 mm |
| Height | 1,189 mm |
| Wheelbase | 2,740 mm |
Despite the battery and three electric motors, Bugatti targets a DIN mass below 1,995 kg. The car’s dimensions remain substantial, particularly its 2,165-mm width with the mirrors extended, so narrow roads, parking structures, and urban garages will require careful planning.

Chassis, suspension, tires, and brakes
The Tourbillon uses a new T800 carbon-composite structure. The battery is integrated into the monocoque as a structural component rather than being treated simply as a separate pack mounted in the chassis.
Aluminum multi-link suspension is used at both ends. Bugatti says its 3D-printed suspension components reduce suspension weight by 45 percent compared with the Chiron.
The bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measure:
- Front: 285/35 R20
- Rear: 345/30 R21
Braking is handled by carboceramic technology and a bespoke brake-by-wire system. That arrangement gives the Tourbillon’s control software a role in blending regenerative braking from the hybrid system with the friction brakes, while retaining the high-temperature capability expected of a car capable of 400 km/h-plus speeds.

Bugatti has taken a deliberately mechanical approach to the cabin. The primary instrument cluster is fully analog and was developed with Swiss watchmaking expertise. It contains more than 600 parts, including titanium, sapphire, and ruby, and weighs approximately 700 grams.
The fixed-hub steering wheel keeps the analog instruments visible while the steering rim rotates. This avoids the conventional problem of a steering wheel obscuring parts of a fixed instrument binnacle during cornering.

There is a touchscreen, but it is concealed inside the center console rather than permanently dominating the dashboard. It deploys in approximately two seconds in portrait mode and five seconds in landscape mode. The arrangement allows modern navigation and media functions without making the screen the visual centerpiece of the cabin.

The seats are fixed to the floor. Instead of sliding the seat to suit different occupants, the pedal box moves electrically. This allows Bugatti to preserve the seating position and keep the driver’s relationship with the steering wheel and instruments consistent.
What the Tourbillon changes from the Chiron
The Tourbillon is more than a styling replacement. The Chiron’s W16 has been replaced by a high-revving naturally aspirated V16, while hybrid motors add both power and all-wheel-drive capability. The structural battery, torque vectoring, electric-only range, and new suspension architecture give the car a substantially different engineering brief.
It also changes Bugatti’s presentation of luxury. The analog gauge assembly, concealed screen, fixed-hub wheel, and electrically adjustable pedals prioritize craftsmanship and permanence over a cabin filled with visible displays. That approach is unusual among modern hypercars, many of which use increasingly large digital screens.

Commonly misstated Tourbillon facts
- It is not simply a 2024 production model. 2024 was the unveiling year; production and deliveries are planned for 2026.
- The official output is 1,800 hp. The 1,775-hp figure is a unit conversion from PS to mechanical horsepower.
- 445 km/h is not the standard top speed. The normal limit is 380 km/h; the higher figure requires the Speed Key.
- It is not an open-order car. All 250 production allocations were reported as allocated shortly after launch.
- Its regulatory figures are not fully final. Bugatti’s material says type approval had not yet been granted, so published efficiency and performance figures remain manufacturer claims pending final approval.
