Aprilia has launched the SXR GT 125 and SXR GT 175 in India, with reported launch prices of Rs 1.11 lakh and Rs 1.31 lakh, respectively, ex-showroom Delhi. Nationwide bookings were reported open on 1 October 2026. The 175 costs Rs 20,000 more and adds a larger engine, a TFT display with connectivity and navigation, and single-channel ABS; the 125 gets an LCD display and CBS.
What is the price of the Aprilia SXR GT 125 and 175?
Autocar India reported launch prices of Rs 1.11 lakh for the SXR GT 125 hp-e and Rs 1.31 lakh for the SXR GT 175 hp-e, both ex-showroom Delhi. That makes the 175 Rs 20,000 more at launch. These are not on-road prices: taxes, registration and other charges can vary by location, so request a local dealer quote before comparing your purchase cost. Autocar India’s launch report reported nationwide bookings open on 1 October 2026; a booking announcement does not confirm a delivery date.
How do the SXR GT 125 and 175 differ?
The two versions share the SXR GT name and a reported move to 14-inch wheels, but differ in engine output, instrumentation and braking equipment. Autocar India’s reported specifications are:

Both engines are reported to meet BS6 OBD-II Stage B requirements and to be compatible with E20 fuel. The 175 is the more powerful and better-equipped option on the listed specifications; the 125 has the lower reported launch price. The launch specifications do not establish real-world differences in comfort, handling or stability.

What is new on the SXR GT models?
The GT variants are reported to use the corresponding SR 125 and SR 175 platform and updated engines while retaining the earlier SXR silhouette. The clearest reported hardware change is the adoption of 14-inch wheels on both GT versions. The previous SXR 125 and SXR 160 were discontinued in May 2026, according to Autocar India. Larger wheels have been suggested as a potential stability and comfort benefit, but that is a predicted effect rather than a verified road-test result. See the reported SXR GT specifications.
Does the Aprilia SXR GT 175 get ABS and a TFT display?
Yes. The SXR GT 175 is reported to have a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth music and call management, turn-by-turn navigation and single-channel ABS. The SXR GT 125 instead has a 5-inch LCD display and CBS. These are the reported equipment distinctions between the variants.

What accessories are reported, and what should buyers confirm?
A Team-BHP launch report names a large windscreen, perimeter kit and utilitarian top box among the accessories. The report does not establish exact compatibility with each GT variant, accessory prices or current availability. Ask an Aprilia dealer to confirm fitment and pricing for the specific scooter before ordering. The older SXR brochure describes 12-inch wheels on the previous model and cautions that accessories pictured may not be standard; it is historical information, not a specification sheet for the GT models.
