CFMOTO’s international brochure lists the S with a single-sided swingarm, adjustable front-fork damping and a Brembo front caliper. Those are documented equipment differences—not evidence of independently measured gains in speed, handling or stopping performance.
What changed on the CFMOTO 450SR for 2024?
The most useful comparison is between the 450SR-S and the base 450SR. CFMOTO’s international 450SR-S brochure specifies a single-sided rear swingarm, adjustable damping in a 37 mm inverted front fork and a 320 mm front disc with a Brembo M40 caliper. Engine and specification figures vary by market
Both CFMOTO’s international 450SR-S brochure and its China-market product page describe a 449.5 cc liquid-cooled DOHC parallel twin. Their output figures differ, so the market and source edition matter:

The international brochure also lists a 795 mm standard seat height and a 14-litre fuel tank. Its 169 kg figure applies to one listed version; a separate EU5 brochure result gives 179 kg. What the listed upgrades do—and do not—establish
The S’s adjustable front damping gives the rider a specified adjustment feature, while the single-sided swingarm and larger listed rear disc distinguish its hardware from the base model. The brochure also documents ABS, traction control and a MotoPlay-compatible TFT. None of these specifications, by themselves, establishes a measured improvement in lap time, stopping distance, cornering or safety. No independent comparative test result is provided in the cited product materials.
