What is the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Nürburgring lap time?

The Nürburgring reports both results, but they refer to different vehicle configurations. The prototype’s time should not be described as the production SU7 Ultra’s lap or used as a direct production-car comparison. Nürburgring’s 2025 official-times retrospective lists the prototype result and the Track Package car’s category result separately.
How Nürburgring record times are measured
The Nordschleife record procedure uses a full 20.832 km lap, beginning with a flying start at a predefined start/finish point. Nürburgring says official attempts use calibrated timing under notary supervision, and vehicles are assigned categories based on Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority classifications. The circuit has 73 turns and more than 300 m of elevation difference, according to the track’s 2025 retrospective.

These rules make the configuration and category essential context: an official time is attached to a particular car and classification, not simply to a model name. The Nürburgring describes 2025 results as covering prototype/pre-production as well as production vehicles. Its record-drive information explains the lap format and oversight.
What Xiaomi claims about the SU7 Ultra
Xiaomi identifies the SU7 Ultra as a production performance sedan with a tri-motor configuration rated at 1,548 PS. The figure is the manufacturer’s specification, not an independent power measurement. Xiaomi also claims 0–100 km/h in 1.98 seconds, a designed maximum speed of 350 km/h, and cooling designed to permit two Nordschleife laps without overheating. Those are manufacturer claims; they have not been independently tested here.

The Nürburgring’s 6:22.091 listing is explicitly for the SU7 Ultra Prototype; the 7:04.957 listing names the SU7 Ultra with Track Package and places it in the electric executive-car category. The records page does not support treating one as a revised time for the other.

The cited manufacturer and Nürburgring pages establish Xiaomi’s stated performance figures and the two reported 2025 lap results. They do not establish the SU7 Ultra’s current order or delivery status, availability outside China, or a new 2026 production-car record. A production-car claim should use a production configuration’s own official result, rather than the prototype’s faster time.
