Xiaomi did not document a tripling of SU7 production in the figures available here. Its reported results show 136,854 SU7 Series deliveries in 2024, after a factory shift change and production-line work during the launch year; the company’s 350,000 figure was a 2025 delivery target, not a production result.
Did Xiaomi really triple SU7 production?
That claim is not established by Xiaomi’s reported figures. The company’s reports give delivery totals and describe factory operating changes, but do not provide a comparable production-output series showing that SU7 production tripled. Deliveries measure vehicles handed over to customers; they are not the same as factory output, orders, or production capacity.
The headline comparison most likely to be confused with a production claim is 136,854 SU7 Series deliveries in 2024 versus Xiaomi’s stated target of 350,000 vehicle deliveries in 2025. The latter is a target, covers Xiaomi vehicles rather than SU7 alone, and is about 2.56 times the 2024 SU7 Series delivery total—not a measured tripling of SU7 production. Xiaomi’s 2024 annual report records the former and states the latter as a goal.
How many SU7s did Xiaomi deliver?
Xiaomi’s 2024 interim report says it delivered 27,367 SU7 Series vehicles in the first half of 2024. At that point, its full-year 2024 delivery target was 120,000. The company’s subsequent annual report records 136,854 SU7 Series deliveries for the full year, exceeding that earlier target.

What production changes did Xiaomi make?
Xiaomi’s interim report says double-shift operations began in June 2024. It also says the production line underwent optimization and maintenance in July. These changes are evidence of efforts to increase or improve production operations, but the report does not quantify how much output changed as a result.
The report described Xiaomi’s approach as “launch upon release, deliver upon launch, and ramp up production upon delivery.” That is the company’s wording in its report, not a quotation attributed to a specific executive.

What did early demand look like?
The Associated Press reported in March 2024 that Xiaomi said it received 50,000 orders in the first 27 minutes after sales opened in China. That was an early sign of launch interest, not a count of completed purchases or cars delivered. The AP report attributes the figure to Xiaomi.

In its first-half 2026 interim report, Xiaomi reported 185,055 deliveries across its vehicles, up 17.7% year over year. That total is for Xiaomi vehicles overall, not the SU7 Series alone. The company separately said the SU7 Series ranked first among pure-electric sedans priced above RMB 200,000 in mainland China. That ranking is limited to the stated vehicle type, price segment, and geography; it should not be read as a broader sales-market claim. Xiaomi’s 2026 interim report also described the mainland China passenger-vehicle retail market as down 20% year over year in the first half of 2026.
