Xiaomi Auto has moved beyond launch preparations: it officially launched its SkyNomad extended-range SUV family in China on September 7, 2026. The announcement lists four variants—not three—spanning five-seat and seven-seat configurations. Xiaomi’s published range and performance figures are manufacturer claims, not independent test results.
What Xiaomi launched
Xiaomi announced the SkyNomad Series on July 30, 2026, calling it the first model built on the Xiaomi Kunlun Platform. The company officially launched the family in China on September 7. The launch announcement names four versions: N70 Pro, N70 Max, N90 Max, and N90 Max Studio. Xiaomi’s announcements do not explain the earlier “trio” framing.
The company describes these vehicles as extended-range SUVs. They should not be confused with battery-only electric vehicles: the figures below distinguish electric-only range from combined range where Xiaomi provides both.

Specifications and feature descriptions are Xiaomi’s, not independent assessments. The company’s July announcement cautions that figures may vary by model and configuration. The listed CLTC ranges are test-cycle figures; they do not establish real-world driving range.

How to read the range and performance figures
The N70 Max has the clearest published specification set in the announcements. Its 505 km figure is electric-only range under CLTC, while 1,461 km is the stated combined CLTC range. Xiaomi also reports a 76 kWh battery and a 5.5-second 0–100 km/h time. The N90 Max’s published figure is up to 464 km of CLTC electric-only range.
These are company-reported specifications, not independent road-test results. They should not be treated as directly comparable with another vehicle’s range unless the test cycle, configuration, and measurement basis match. The launch materials do not establish independent range, safety, or competitor-performance results.

Price and availability
Xiaomi’s September launch headline gives the SkyNomad family a starting price of RMB 209,900. That is a family starting price, not a confirmed price for every variant; the available announcement does not provide a complete final price list for all four configurations.
The launch context is China. Xiaomi’s announcements do not establish sales availability in other countries or full delivery timing for each version.
