Its appeal is a matter of priorities, not a proven verdict: riders who want that heritage-led look alongside contemporary hardware may find the combination compelling, while the published specifications alone cannot establish how it rides or whether it suits every enthusiast.
What is the Honda CB1000F?
Honda presents the CB1000F as a retro-styled four-cylinder motorcycle inspired by the 1979 CB750F. In its May 28, 2026 U.S. announcement, American Honda says the new model is built on the CB1000 Hornet SP platform. The historical reference is more specific than a general nod to old Hondas: Honda connects the CB750F to Freddie Spencer’s AMA Superbike era. The U.S. specification sheet lists a 1000 cc liquid-cooled inline-four and a six-speed manual gearbox. Honda UK lists 91.0 kW at 9,000 rpm and 103 Nm at 8,000 rpm for its market specification.
