The price buys more than a classic Mustang look: Revology combines that styling with modern powertrain, chassis and comfort systems in an integrated build. That can make the premium worthwhile for someone who intends to drive the car regularly; it is harder to justify if low cost, factory originality or independently verified investment performance matters most.
What the price includes—and what it doesn’t
The current figures are model-specific starting prices, not a single price for every Revology Mustang. The 1970 Boss 302 is listed from $375,000 on Revology’s model page. The 1969 Boss 429 has a $395,000 base price in Revology’s March 2026 order guide. Options can raise the final figure: for example, that guide lists the Tremec T-56 Magnum XL six-speed manual as a $4,500 option.
The Boss 429 guide specifies a supercharged and intercooled 5.0L V8 rated at 710 hp. That output, modern transmission choices and configurable equipment are part of the proposition, but a buyer should price the exact build rather than assume the starting figure covers the desired specification. Ask for a written, itemized quote and clarify any delivery or other ownership costs not included.
Why the premium can make sense
An integrated modernized car, not just a cosmetic restoration
Revology describes its engineering approach as OEM-style: a developed platform intended to integrate modern components and systems. The company says this approach is meant to support consistency, reliability, serviceability and ongoing improvement. Those are the manufacturer’s stated goals, not independent proof that its cars are more reliable than a traditional restoration or another restomod.

The practical appeal is the combination of classic Mustang appearance and contemporary power and functionality. A buyer who expects to use the car may value that more than someone whose priority is preserving factory-correct specification. Revology founder and president Tom Scarpello has made the same use-case argument, saying the more complex modern-engine installation is “definitely the way to go for someone who wants to actually drive his car, not just sit and look at it.” That is the manufacturer executive’s view, not an independent evaluation.
Configuration and production are part of the purchase
Revology reported more than 360 deliveries to enthusiasts in 20 countries and 35–40 cars in production at a time as of May 2026. It gives a typical order-to-delivery timeframe of 28–32 weeks: 24 weeks in production, plus a variable four-to-eight-week wait before production begins. These are company-reported figures, not a guarantee for a particular order. Confirm current availability, queue position and estimated delivery in writing.

Ownership, service and safety considerations
Revology says its cars are restored from original donor Mustangs and sold and titled as used vehicles. Its FAQ says they can be serviced by Ford dealerships or independent shops capable of working on early and late-model Mustangs. Warranty work is available through participating Ford dealers in the United States and Canada or capable independent shops. Before ordering, check that a nearby shop or dealer will support the exact car.
The FAQ lists one year of unlimited-mileage bumper-to-bumper coverage, two years for the powertrain and five years against body rust and corrosion. These are company-published terms; ask for the written warranty applicable to your order, including exclusions and the process for claims.

Revology states that its cars do not meet current Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and do not have airbags. It lists other safety equipment, including three-point front seat belts, dual-circuit braking, a collapsible steering shaft and a fuel-pump inertia switch. Those measures are not equivalent to current new-car compliance or airbag protection. Confirm registration, insurance and intended-use rules where you live.
How to judge whether the price is right for you
There is no established like-for-like independent comparison here against a traditional restoration or another restomod builder, so calling Revology the objectively best value would go beyond the available evidence. Instead, evaluate the specific car against what matters to you:

- Originality and local rules: Consider the donor-car/restored-original status and check the rules that apply to registration and insurance in your jurisdiction.

What Revology says about resale
Revology’s FAQ says most of its Mustangs and Shelby GTs sold through its Certified Pre-Owned program “typically retain 90-110% of their original price after two years and 2,500 miles.” This is a manufacturer-reported figure. The FAQ does not provide the underlying transaction data or independent verification, so it should not be read as a guaranteed return, an investment forecast or proof that the cars generally appreciate.
