Outside Ford, the clearest reported users of the 3.5-liter EcoBoost are British specialist manufacturers Noble, in the M500, and Radical Motorsport, in the RXC. Portugal’s Adamastor has also announced a planned Furia using the engine, but that project had not yet materialized when SlashGear reported on it on October 5, 2026. Lincoln’s Navigator is another 3.5-liter V6 application, but Lincoln is Ford’s luxury brand—not an independent automaker.
Which independent automakers use the 3.5-liter EcoBoost?
The evidence points to two established specialist-car examples and one announced project. The Noble and Radical applications are described in secondary reporting as modified or re-engineered engines, not untouched, interchangeable Ford units. Adamastor’s Furia remains a reported project rather than a confirmed production-car example.

What the power figures do—and do not—tell you
The reported outputs vary by vehicle and source. SlashGear’s 654-hp figure for the RXC and Radical’s current page figure of 719 bhp are not interchangeable specifications: one is secondary reporting about an engine application, while the other is a vehicle figure on the manufacturer’s page, which does not identify the engine in its visible text. The Noble’s 541 hp and Adamastor’s claimed 650 hp likewise belong to their specific reported applications; they do not establish a standard output for every 3.5-liter EcoBoost.
Ford Component Sales’ 3.5 V6 GTDi EcoBoost sheet identifies Ford Motor Company as the manufacturer, Cleveland Engine Plant as the plant, displacement as 3,496 cc and alignment as transverse. That sheet documents a Ford engine specification; it does not prove that the Noble or Radical uses identical hardware, orientation or packaging. Why Lincoln is a separate kind of example
A 2026 Lincoln Navigator uses a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 rated at 440 hp and 510 lb-ft in every trim, according to a May 2026 SlashGear review. It is relevant if the question is simply which vehicles use a 3.5-liter V6, but it does not add another independent automaker: Lincoln is Ford Motor Company’s luxury brand. EcoBoost does not always mean 3.5 liters
EcoBoost is Ford’s name for a family of engines, not a displacement designation. Ford describes the technology as combining turbocharging, direct fuel injection and twin independent variable camshaft timing. How firm is the evidence?
The strongest independent examples named in the available reporting are the Noble M500 and Radical RXC. The application details and outputs for those specialist cars are principally reported by SlashGear, while Radical’s own RXC page supplies vehicle figures without identifying the engine in the visible text. Adamastor’s Furia should be described as an announced, not confirmed production, application. No production totals, adoption-rate statistic or population-wide reliability figure is established by these sources.
