Which M7 models are in the current U.S. lineup?
Kubota USA lists three models. Their model numbers and current listed engine ratings are not the same number: for example, the M7-134 is listed at 128 hp.

These are manufacturer specifications on Kubota’s current U.S. M7 Series page, not independent test results. The M7-134 is specifically shown in all three configurations; confirm trim availability for the other models and the market you are buying in.
What changed with the M7-4 generation?
Kubota announced the fourth-generation lineup on August 29, 2023. Its listed updates focus on loader use and the operator environment rather than a new model count.

LM2606 front loader
Kubota says every M7-4 model features the LM2606 loader. The company gives a maximum lift height of up to 167 inches and lift capacity of 5,776 pounds at the bucket pivot pin. These are Kubota’s published figures; confirm the loader configuration and suitability for the work and attachments involved.
Multi-Speed Steering Control
The system offers three settings that change how many steering-wheel rotations are needed to reach the full turning radius. Kubota says it is intended to reduce operator fatigue and improve productivity; those are stated aims, not independently measured outcomes.

Clutch control with Xpress Restart
Xpress Restart allows the operator to control the main clutch with the brake pedal. Kubota’s launch announcement said it was standard on Deluxe and Premium models. Verify the feature on the specific tractor and build sheet.
Visibility and lighting
Kubota described LED work lights as standard on Premium and Premium KVT and optional on Deluxe. Heated electric side mirrors are intended to reduce fog and condensation. Equipment can vary, so check the individual build rather than relying on a trim name alone.

Cab comfort and access
Kubota described automatic HVAC as standard on Premium and Premium KVT and optional on Deluxe. Mechanical or air suspension choices and an air-ride seat are also part of the comfort offering. The launch announcement additionally noted revised integration of the steps with the fuel and DEF tanks.
How do the trims differ?
The choice among Deluxe, Premium, and Premium KVT affects transmission and equipment. Kubota’s U.S. page describes Deluxe and Premium with a semi-powershift transmission, while Premium KVT uses Kubota Variable Transmission (KVT). A Kubota article published in 2025 describes the semi-powershift as 30 forward and 15 reverse speeds and KVT as a continuously variable transmission. Confirm the exact specification for the model and build you are considering.

The current U.S. page also lists closed-center load-sensing hydraulics at 29 gpm, four-speed live independent PTO, and a 7-inch K-Monitor on Premium versions. Cab, axle, suspension, and option equipment differ by trim and configuration; ask for a build sheet for the exact tractor.

Kubota describes the M7’s hydraulic system as suited to hydraulically driven equipment and lists round baling, spraying, planting, tillage, loader work, mixer wagons, and grain carts as example applications. Its August 2023 announcement also cited hay operations, loader work, and small- to mid-sized row-crop farming.

Those examples are not a guarantee that every implement will fit or perform as needed. Check hydraulic flow and demand, hitch and PTO requirements, dimensions, and compatibility for the particular tractor, implement, and task. Kubota’s page also features Land Pride attachments such as grapple buckets, but that does not establish universal compatibility.
What is known about price and availability?
Kubota USA directs buyers to dealers for competitive pricing. Price and availability depend on market, dealer, configuration, and options. Regional specifications and prices should not be transferred between countries: Kubota’s Japan page states that its displayed prices are as of July 1, 2026, and they are not U.S. prices. Obtain a current quote and confirm local availability with a dealer.
What the published specifications do—and don’t—show
The published horsepower, hydraulic-flow, and loader figures are manufacturer specifications. They do not establish fuel economy, reliability, comparative field productivity, or measured fatigue reduction. Kubota’s stated productivity and comfort benefits should be read as intended advantages, not independent test findings.
