Toyota’s 2025 Sequoia adds a new 1794 grade, a Mudbath paint option exclusive to the TRD Pro, and available massaging front seats. The main distinction is that the 1794 is new to the Sequoia lineup, while some of its features—such as the panoramic roof and Tow Tech Package—are also available on other grades.
What did Toyota add to the 2025 Sequoia?
Toyota announced three headline additions for the U.S. 2025 model: the 1794 grade, massaging front seats and Mudbath, a TRD Pro-exclusive color. The company’s August 13, 2024 announcement describes the Sequoia as assembled in San Antonio, Texas, and says the 1794 name references the ranch history Toyota associates with the assembly site. - New grade: 1794 joins the Sequoia range with American walnut wood-grain trim, leather-trimmed heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, 20-inch wheels, second-row captain’s chairs, a panoramic roof and the Tow Tech Package.
- New seat feature: Toyota says massaging front seats are standard on 1794, Platinum and Capstone. Their controls are accessed through the available 14-inch multimedia touchscreen.
- New paint: Mudbath is exclusive to the 2025 TRD Pro, according to Toyota.
The 1794’s equipment is a mix of grade-specific appointments and features Toyota also offers elsewhere in the range. The newness is the grade’s addition to the Sequoia lineup, not that every item it includes is new to the model.
How do the six 2025 Sequoia grades differ?
Toyota listed six U.S. grades for 2025: SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, TRD Pro and Capstone. This overview focuses on the distinctions stated in Toyota’s announcement rather than a complete equipment comparison.
