The short answer: no published source confirms a loose-item inventory for the 2026 Li Auto L9, so the useful answer to “what’s in the box?” is the equipment built into the vehicle. For the China-market all-new 2026 L9, which Li Auto announced on May 15, 2026 with deliveries from May 17, that means two trims, Ultra and Livis, each with a fixed equipment list. Keys, charging cables, tools, printed books and other handover items are not confirmed here and should be checked with your retailer for your exact vehicle.
Which L9 this covers
This article covers the all-new 2026 Li Auto L9 as launched in China. Li Auto’s launch announcement names two trims, Ultra and Livis, and gives launch prices of RMB 459,800 for Ultra and RMB 509,800 for Livis as of May 15, 2026. These are dated launch prices, not a current quote, and they apply to the China market only.
Li Auto also announced an International Exclusive Version for overseas markets, with a planned debut in Q3 2026 and initial mention of Central Asia, the Middle East and other overseas markets, with localization adaptations. The announcement describes a plan. It does not confirm which countries have the car on sale as of October 2026, and that version may not carry the China equipment list described below. If you are buying outside China, treat every figure here as a China-launch reference and confirm your local specification.
Built-in equipment as described by Li Auto
Li Auto’s official product page describes the following features. These are manufacturer descriptions of the vehicle, not loose items in a shipping box, and fitment should be checked against your trim and market before you assume it applies to your car.

Ultra versus Livis: what actually differs
The two trims share the core powertrain and battery but differ in chassis, driver-assistance hardware and cockpit processor. Li Auto’s Q1 2026 investor release is the most specific source for these differences.

Which difference matters depends on use. Buyers who mainly value a lower entry price and the standard chassis should look at Ultra. Buyers who want the higher-tier active suspension, the extra driver-assistance sensing and the stronger cockpit processor have a reason to pay for Livis. Neither trim is better across the board; the choice turns on those hardware differences and on the price gap.

Options and launch-period offers are not standard equipment
Xinhua’s May 18, 2026 launch coverage reports separately priced options that are tied to Livis, including two-tone bodywork, electrochromic glass for the second and third rows, hidden electric side steps and an electric tow hitch. It also mentions launch-period upgrade offers. Treat these as optional or time-limited. Do not assume a given car has them, and do not read them as standard across all L9s. Check the configuration on your order and whether any offer still applies at the time you buy.
Handover items: what is not confirmed
Li Auto’s product page and launch announcement describe the vehicle. They do not publish a physical delivery checklist. Li Auto hosts a 2026 owner manual index, which confirms that owner documentation exists, but a manual listing is a reference, not an inventory of what is handed over with a new car.

Ask the selling retailer for a written handover list for your VIN, trim and market. Confirm at least these points:
- The number of physical keys or key cards supplied.
- Whether a charging cable or charging adapter is included, and which connector type.
- Whether a tyre repair kit, spare wheel or tools are supplied.
- Whether floor mats or cargo accessories are included.
- Whether a printed owner manual, warranty booklet or registration paperwork is provided, or whether these are digital only.
Do not treat any of these as included until the retailer confirms them in writing for your car.

Reading the range and fuel figures
Li Auto’s official product page lists the following WLTC figures for the L9: 350 km pure-electric range, 1,370 km combined range and 6.6 L/100 km fuel consumption. These are test-cycle figures from the manufacturer. They are not independent measurements and do not predict what a driver will achieve in cold weather, at motorway speeds or with a full load. Keep the WLTC attribution when quoting them.
Older L9 information exists. A 2022 HKEX filing contains earlier specifications for the previous model generation. Do not combine that older equipment or those older figures with the 2026 model. If you see a number for the L9 that does not match the figures above, check which model year and market it refers to.

Practical checklist before you accept delivery
- Confirm the trim (Ultra or Livis) and the market in writing.
- Match the built-in features on the product page to the trim you are buying.
- Check which optional equipment, if any, is on your order and what it costs.
- Get the handover items list for your VIN before the delivery day.
- Use the owner manual to learn how to operate the equipment, not to confirm what came in the box.
The vehicle’s built-in equipment is documented in Li Auto’s official material. The contents of the physical handover are not, and should be confirmed with the seller.
