The current Tesla North American Cybertruck Owner’s Manual lists curb mass from 6,118 lb (2,775 kg) for Long Range to 6,898 lb (3,129 kg) for Cyberbeast with all-terrain tires. The exact figure depends on configuration and tire option; Tesla describes the figures as approximate and says options can change them.
Cybertruck curb weight by configuration
Tesla’s Owner’s Manual, software version 2026.32, defines curb mass as the vehicle with correct fluid levels, no occupants and no cargo. Its published figures are approximate specifications, not independent weigh-ins.
| Configuration and tire option | Curb mass | Payload | GVWR | Maximum towing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Long Range, all-season or all-terrain | 6,118 lb (2,775 kg) | 2,006 lb (910 kg) | 8,199 lb (3,719 kg) | 7,500 lb (3,402 kg) |
| Dual Motor AWD, all-season or all-terrain | 6,537 lb (2,965 kg) | 2,006 lb (910 kg) | 8,598 lb (3,900 kg) | 7,500 lb (3,402 kg) |
| Premium AWD, all-season | 6,634 lb (3,009 kg) | 2,200 lb (998 kg) | 8,834 lb (4,007 kg) | 11,000 lb (4,990 kg) |
| Premium AWD, all-terrain | 6,669 lb (3,025 kg) | 2,500 lb (1,134 kg) | 9,169 lb (4,159 kg) | 11,000 lb (4,990 kg) |
| Cyberbeast, all-season | 6,863 lb (3,113 kg) | 2,000 lb (907 kg) | 8,863 lb (4,020 kg) | 11,000 lb (4,990 kg) |
| Cyberbeast, all-terrain | 6,898 lb (3,129 kg) | 2,270 lb (1,030 kg) | 9,169 lb (4,159 kg) | 11,000 lb (4,990 kg) |
Tesla’s current North American Cybertruck Owner’s Manual cautions that curb masses are approximate and may vary slightly with options. An individual truck’s exact weight therefore may not match a published row exactly.
Why Tesla’s service manual gives different weights
Tesla’s Cybertruck Service Manual separately lists maximum curb weight of 6,669 lb (3,025 kg) for Dual Motor and 6,918 lb (3,137 kg) for Tri Motor. It defines maximum curb weight as the vehicle with the heaviest customer options and standard equipment, with all fluids. These service figures are intended for a different purpose and use a different label from the configuration-specific curb-mass table in the Owner’s Manual.
#1 Best Overall
In particular, the Service Manual’s 6,918-lb Tri Motor maximum is not the same figure or configuration label as the Owner’s Manual’s 6,898-lb Cyberbeast all-terrain curb mass. The manuals present different measures; neither figure should be treated as a correction to the other.
Tesla’s Cybertruck Service Manual gives the maximum-curb-weight definition and chart.

Curb mass, payload, GVWR, GAWR and towing are different
- Curb mass is the vehicle’s weight with the specified fluids, but without occupants or cargo.
- Payload is a carrying-capacity rating, not the truck’s empty weight. Occupants and cargo consume the available capacity.
- GVWR, or gross vehicle weight rating, is the maximum allowable total vehicle mass, including passengers, fluids and cargo.
- GAWR, or gross axle weight rating, is the maximum load permitted on each axle. Being under GVWR does not guarantee that either axle is under its own limit.
- Maximum towing is a separate trailer rating. It does not state the Cybertruck’s curb mass or payload.
Tesla’s current table lists payload from 2,000 to 2,500 lb and GVWR from 8,199 to 9,169 lb across the configurations shown. Maximum towing is 7,500 lb for Long Range and Dual Motor AWD, and 11,000 lb for the listed Premium AWD and Cyberbeast configurations.

For loading decisions, use the labels on the vehicle rather than relying only on a general configuration table. Tesla directs owners to the Tire and Loading Information label and Vehicle Certification label on the driver’s-side front door pillar. Check the truck’s GVWR and both front and rear GAWR, and do not exceed any of them.
