A Gizmochina report described a widely circulated image that appeared to show a Xiaomi SU7 and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan after a collision, with visible damage to both cars. The report attributed details about the crash and fault to Chinese social-media influencer “Big Lizi Qiqili”; it did not provide a police record or independently establish how the collision happened.
What happened in the reported Xiaomi SU7 accident?
Gizmochina published its account on April 12, 2024, and updated it on April 13. It described a widely circulated photo as showing the SU7 and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan after a collision. The account does not identify a specific Mercedes-Benz model.
According to Gizmochina, influencer “Big Lizi Qiqili” said the SU7 belonged to him and that a colleague was filming when the accident occurred. The report also attributed to him the claim that both cars had green lights and that traffic police placed full responsibility on his driver. These details are the influencer’s account as summarized by the outlet, not independently verified facts.
How badly were the cars damaged?
Gizmochina described significant damage to both vehicles in the images. Its account listed the following visible damage:

Was fault officially established?
Gizmochina attributed the claim that traffic police assigned full responsibility to the SU7 driver to “Big Lizi Qiqili.” The article did not include a police document or other primary record confirming that determination. It therefore does not establish liability independently, nor does it provide enough verified information to reconstruct the collision sequence.
