Reports describe a roughly 5.27-metre body, a 3.13-metre wheelbase, a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, front and rear electric motors, a 66.48 kWh LFP battery and a stated 310 km battery-only range. Those figures are not enough to make a buying decision yet: the range test cycle is unspecified, the nine-minute charging claim lacks test conditions, and final price, delivery timing, trim content, warranty and export support remain unconfirmed.
The most accurate way to view the Ti 9 today is as a Chinese-market product approaching a planned launch, not as a vehicle already available for ordinary retail purchase worldwide. The following checklist separates reported specifications from facts you still need to verify with an authorised seller.

What the Ti 9 is and where the launch stands
A flagship plug-in hybrid, not a pure electric SUV
Fang Cheng Bao positions the Ti 9 as a large, premium-oriented SUV with electric drive capability and a petrol engine for longer trips. A plug-in-hybrid layout can let you complete shorter journeys on battery power while retaining the ability to refuel with petrol when charging is inconvenient. That benefit depends on the final electric range, charging access, fuel economy with a depleted battery and the vehicle’s price; none of those ownership outcomes can be established from the pre-launch figures alone.

China timing is still a plan
CarNewsChina’s August 11, 2026 reveal report said there was no specific delivery schedule. CnEVPost reported an August Chengdu Auto Show debut. CarNewsChina’s October 9 report then described a planned Q4 2026 launch in China. A plan for a quarter is not proof that production cars have reached customers, so ask a dealer for an orderable trim, a written delivery estimate and the terms for a refundable deposit.
Fang Cheng Bao was quoted as saying it “will not wait too long” about timing. The report did not identify a named speaker, and the phrase should not be treated as a guaranteed hand-over date.
What a non-Chinese buyer should assume
Nothing in the launch reports confirms export markets. A reference to possible global sales is speculative rather than evidence of homologation, local registration, a dealer network, warranty coverage or parts supply. If you are outside China, treat an imported Ti 9 as an unsupported project until a local distributor can document compliance and after-sales arrangements.
Size, seating and everyday practicality

These measurements come from MIIT-related coverage reported by CnEVPost and from August reveal reporting. The Ti 9 is described as a unibody (monocoque) crossover even though its upright, rugged styling resembles a body-on-frame off-roader. That distinction matters if you are expecting traditional truck-based towing behaviour or off-road hardware; the published reports do not establish a towing limit, approach angles, ground clearance or four-wheel-drive operating modes.
Seat-count conflict to resolve before paying
Most launch stories call the Ti 9 a six-seat SUV arranged 2+2+2, with two individual seats in each row. An August 21 report tied to the Chinese filing also mentioned 5-, 6- and 7-seat interior layouts. - The number of seats in the exact trim and market you are buying.
- Whether the second row is two captain’s chairs or a bench.
- Third-row legroom, seat-belt positions and child-seat anchorage points.
- How much luggage space remains with all rows occupied.
- Whether the second-row seats tilt, slide or fold sufficiently for third-row access.
Do not infer seating capacity from promotional images. A six-seat cabin can be excellent for access and comfort, yet less flexible than a seven-seat bench when you need to carry five passengers plus bulky cargo.
Powertrain and battery: what is actually specified
Engine and electric motors
Reported specifications pair a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with electric motors on both axles. China MIIT-related coverage lists 200 kW peak output for each electric motor. That is a per-motor peak figure, not a published combined system output, and peak power is not the same as sustained output or acceleration performance. No independent test result establishes 0–100 km/h time, passing performance, thermal limits or fuel consumption.
Battery chemistry and capacity
The filing value reported by CnEVPost is 66.48 kWh using LFP chemistry. Later coverage rounds the figure to 66.5 kWh. The small difference is rounding, but neither number tells you how much energy is usable by the driver. Ask for gross and usable capacity, the battery-buffer percentage, charging-power limits at different states of charge and the battery-warranty capacity threshold.
What the plug-in system means in practice
A large PHEV battery can reduce petrol use when you charge regularly, but the benefit falls if the vehicle is driven mostly with a depleted battery. Before buying, obtain the official fuel-consumption values for both charge-sustaining and charge-depleting operation, and ask whether the quoted result follows China’s CLTC procedure or another test. A 5.27-metre SUV will also have different energy demands from a smaller crossover, so do not use the electric range figure to estimate petrol economy.
Electric range: read the 310 km claim correctly
Launch coverage states 310 km of battery-only range. CarNewsChina specifically notes that the source material does not identify a test cycle, so the figure should not be labelled CLTC, WLTP or real-world range. It is a stated number whose measurement method is currently unclear.

- Whether the number is based on a new battery at a specified temperature and tyre pressure.
- The approved wheel and tyre sizes used for the test.
- Whether the result is for a front-motor, dual-motor or other specific trim.
- The permitted battery state-of-charge window and the point at which the petrol engine starts.
Do not convert 310 km into a guaranteed daily distance. Weather, speed, heating or air-conditioning use, passenger load, hills and battery age all affect the distance available in an electrified vehicle. Until an independent road test or a clearly identified certification cycle is published, the prudent approach is to plan charging with a margin rather than assuming the headline number.
Charging claims and the questions behind them
September coverage reports a 10–97% charge in nine minutes. The reports do not establish the charger’s peak or average power, the connector standard, battery temperature, ambient conditions, pack preconditioning, starting state of charge beyond the stated range, or whether the result was independently measured. The claim therefore cannot be used to promise a nine-minute stop at an ordinary public charger.
Verify the charging hardware
Before signing a contract, confirm the maximum DC charging power, AC charging power, connector type, charging-network compatibility and whether a home wallbox is supported in your country. Ask for the charge-time curve rather than a single best-case interval; charging normally slows as the battery approaches full, and a 10–97% result may not represent the most useful travel window.
Check installation and route reality
Have an electrician verify that your home supply can support the vehicle’s AC equipment. For road trips, map chargers that accept the Ti 9’s connector and payment method, and confirm that the car can maintain its advertised power when the battery is cold or nearly full. If the seller cannot supply these details, treat the nine-minute statement as a preliminary marketing claim, not a guaranteed stop time.

Reported cabin and driver-assistance equipment
Interior coverage describes a 30-inch centre display, a driver instrument cluster, a head-up display and a cabin refrigerator. Exterior reports mention roof-mounted LiDAR and driver-assistance functions. These are reported features, not confirmation that every trim includes them or that the systems deliver a particular level of automated driving.
Questions to ask about software
- Which functions are standard and which require a higher trim or subscription?
- Will maps, voice control and connected services work in your language and country?
- How are software updates delivered, and can an imported vehicle receive them?
- Does the head-up display show navigation and driver warnings in the local market?
- What happens to driver assistance when cameras, LiDAR or connectivity are obstructed?
Do not treat a LiDAR sensor as a safety rating. As of October 13, 2026, the cited reports do not provide an independent crash-test result, verified emergency-braking performance or a reliability record for the Ti 9.

Price is not published
The August reveal coverage said pricing was undisclosed, and the October launch report did not provide a final price list. Without a price, trim structure and standard-equipment list, it is impossible to calculate whether the Ti 9 offers value against other large electrified SUVs. Ignore unofficial deposits or converted currency estimates unless the seller identifies the exact Chinese-market trim and states whether taxes, registration, shipping and warranty are included.
Warranty and parts are separate from the vehicle
For an official local sale, obtain the written vehicle warranty, battery warranty, roadside-assistance terms, service intervals and parts-availability commitment. For an import, also verify who performs high-voltage repairs, whether diagnostic software is accessible outside China, how accident parts are sourced and whether a failed battery module can be repaired locally. A low purchase price can be overwhelmed by transport, tax, registration, specialist labour and long waits for parts.
Safety and reliability evidence is still missing
No independent safety rating, real-world consumption result, reliability statistic or long-term ownership figure is identified in the available Ti 9 reports. That does not prove the vehicle is unsafe or unreliable; it means those questions remain unanswered. Wait for a recognised crash-test result and customer-use data if those factors are important to your decision.

How to compare the Ti 9 with other large electrified SUVs
CarNewsChina places the Ti 9 in the same broad segment as the Denza N9, Li Auto L9 and Aito M9, but the cited reports do not provide a complete, like-for-like comparison or a Ti 9 price. Use the following worksheet rather than comparing headline range or screen size alone.

A pre-purchase checklist for the Ti 9
- Confirm availability. Ask whether the vehicle is officially orderable in your country, not merely displayed or advertised online.
- Identify the exact vehicle. Record model name spelling, model year, trim, seat count, battery size, motor configuration and exterior dimensions on the quotation.
- Demand the final price. Separate vehicle price from tax, registration, shipping, preparation, finance charges and optional equipment.
- Validate the range. Request the test cycle and certification document for the 310 km figure, plus any independent road-test data.
- Validate charging. Get connector, AC and DC limits, charge-time curve, preconditioning requirements and local network compatibility.
- Inspect family usability. Sit in every row, install your child seats, load your normal luggage and check door and tailgate clearance.
- Check the garage. Measure the opening, internal length, width, height and turning space against the confirmed variant, including mirrors and roof hardware.
- Read the warranty. Confirm battery-capacity coverage, exclusions, service intervals, roadside assistance and who pays for software or diagnostic work.
- Verify safety documentation. Look for an independent crash rating and the exact driver-assistance functions approved for your market.
- Protect your deposit. Use a contract that states the delivery date, refund conditions, specification changes and what happens if local approval is delayed.
Who should wait, and who might fit the Ti 9
Waiting is sensible if you need certainty
Wait for final pricing, a confirmed production specification and local support if your purchase depends on a fixed delivery date, a guaranteed warranty, independently measured range or a proven charging network. The planned Q4 2026 China launch does not establish any export timetable.
The concept may suit a specific use case
The Ti 9 could appeal to buyers who need a very large cabin, want three rows with a premium two-seat-per-row layout and can charge regularly. Its reported dimensions and plug-in system also make it a poor match for buyers who need compact-city parking, a documented towing rating, an established service network or a vehicle that can be delivered immediately.

The Ti 9 has an impressive reported specification: a 5,270 mm body, 3,130 mm wheelbase, dual electric motors, a 66.48 kWh LFP battery and a stated 310 km electric range. The buying risks are equally clear. The range cycle and charging conditions are unknown, seat layouts are not fully reconciled, price and delivery are unpublished, and export support has not been confirmed. Treat it as a promising pre-launch Chinese PHEV and make a purchase only after the seller supplies a final build sheet, certified range and charging data, written warranty and a verifiable local service plan.
