What Alpine cars are currently available?
Alpine’s announced 2026 range combines two production electric models with the A110 nameplate in transition. The A290 is a compact electric hot hatch; the A390 is a five-seat electric sport fastback; and the current-generation A110 is the outgoing two-seat sports car. Alpine has previewed the direction of a third-generation electric A110, but its final production specifications, price and delivery timing were not established in the company material reviewed through September 2026.

“Available” needs a country-specific check. A model may be announced or on sale in one market without being orderable, priced or deliverable in another. For the A110 in particular, the end of production does not establish that every market has run out of cars—or that remaining stock can still be ordered on the same terms. Ask a local Alpine retailer for current inventory, ordering status and delivery estimates rather than treating the brand’s global range as a local offer.

Which Alpine fits the way you will use a car?
Choose by passenger and luggage needs first
The clearest distinction is not a performance number but the format. The A110 is a two-seat sports car. The A290 is a hot hatch. The A390 is the only one of the three described as having five seats, making it the natural starting point if you routinely need to carry more than one passenger. That does not by itself establish how much luggage any model will take; check the exact car in person and bring the items you commonly carry if cargo space is a deciding factor.

If you need a car to cover regular passenger, commuting and practical duties, make those requirements explicit before comparing Alpine models. The A390’s five-seat layout gives it a different role from the A110, but the available information does not establish independent assessments of comfort, cabin space or everyday usability. A seating count is a useful filter, not a substitute for checking fit.
Decide whether electric ownership works for your routine
The A290 and A390 are electric. That means a buyer should consider where and when the car can be charged, not just its power output. Think through your normal parking arrangements, access to charging and longer journeys. Confirm what charging equipment is included in the local vehicle specification, what must be supplied separately, and whether the charging options advertised for a particular grade are offered in your market.
The A390’s announced charging figures are useful for comparing its published specification, but they are not a promise of the same result in every charging session. Battery condition, temperature, charging equipment and other conditions can affect real-world outcomes; the manufacturer’s quoted figure should not be treated as an independently verified owner result. The material used here does not provide an A290 range figure or independent real-world range data for either electric model.

Choose between an outgoing car and an unfinalized successor
If the two-seat A110 format is the draw, distinguish the current-generation car from the future electric one. The outgoing model is the one covered by Alpine’s 2025 final-run announcement and historical prices. The successor is a separate future product: Alpine has indicated its electric direction and platform, but the reviewed material does not settle its production specification, price or delivery date. Buyers who want a current-generation A110 should investigate remaining cars; buyers willing to wait should avoid treating preview information as a final order specification.
What does the A390 offer on paper?
Alpine’s October 2025 announcement describes the A390 as an all-wheel-drive electric car with three motors and Alpine Active Torque Vectoring. The GT was announced at 400 hp. The GTS was announced at 470 hp and up to 824 Nm, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from an independent road test.

The GTS announcement specifies an 11 kW AC onboard charger, an optional 22 kW charger and DC charging up to 150 kW. Alpine states a 15% to 80% charging time of 29 minutes. Treat that time as a manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed stop duration: it describes a particular state-of-charge window, and the cited announcement does not establish what a driver will achieve under every real-world condition. Nor should the A390’s charging specification be generalized to the A290 or another Alpine model.

Alpine also announced 21-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres for the GTS and said 20-inch wheels are available for optimal range. The GTS announcement lists heated, massaging, electrically adjustable front seats and Alpine Telemetrics Expert equipment. Confirm the exact equipment and available wheel options on a local car: an announced grade specification is not proof that every country’s configuration is identical.

How much does an Alpine cost?
The specific prices available here are historical French figures, not current universal quotes. Alpine’s October 2025 announcement listed French starting prices including VAT of €67,500 for the A390 GT and €78,000 for the A390 GTS. The same announcement listed €66,900 for the current-generation A110, €79,900 for the A110 GTS and €122,900 for the A110 R 70. Those A110 prices were attached to a final production-run announcement; they do not prove that a car remains orderable at those prices in October 2026.
These figures are not a like-for-like cost-of-ownership comparison. They do not establish current local transaction prices, taxes outside France, options, insurance, servicing, energy costs or resale value. Ask for a dated, itemized quote in your country, including the exact trim, fitted options, taxes and any delivery charges. For a remaining A110, ask whether the quote concerns an unregistered car or one already registered, and confirm warranty start and coverage terms before comparing it with an A390 offer.

Is the Alpine A110 being discontinued?
Alpine said in October 2025 that it would build a final run of 1,750 current-generation A110s and that production would cease in mid-2026. - Get ownership terms separately. Ask about warranty, service schedule, insurance and any market-specific support. The available manufacturer material does not establish reliability rates or these ownership costs, so do not infer them from Alpine’s heritage or sales growth.
- For a current A110, establish the car’s status. Confirm whether it is unregistered stock, when the warranty begins, and what delivery or registration timing applies. For the successor, ask for confirmed information rather than relying on preview styling.
What do Alpine’s sales and history tell you?
Alpine identifies itself as a Renault Group sports-car brand founded by Jean Rédélé in 1955, with a historic factory in Dieppe and motorsport activity. That context helps explain the brand’s sports-car identity and its move into electric vehicles, but it cannot answer whether a particular model is reliable, comfortable, affordable to maintain or right for your routine.
Alpine reported 10,970 vehicles sold worldwide in 2025 and 8,198 A290 registrations that year, describing the A290 as 75% of brand sales. Those are Alpine’s own sales figures. They show the A290’s importance to the company’s sales mix, but do not demonstrate comparative value, reliability, owner satisfaction or range. In a September 2026 release, Alpine reported 210 Alpine, Alpine Store and Atelier Alpine locations in 25 countries. That is a company network count, not a guarantee there is a nearby retailer or service location where you live; check local sales and service coverage directly.
Alpine’s chief executive Philippe Krief described the A390’s addition alongside the A290 and A110 as supporting a strong start to 2026 in the company’s Q1 release. That is brand commentary, not an independent assessment of the cars. For a buyer, the useful takeaway is that Alpine is broadening beyond its two-seat sports-car format, while the choice still depends on the specific model’s fit, local availability and verified terms.
