The Honda NT1100 is a road-focused sport-tourer that combines touring features with equipment useful for everyday riding. For 2026, the U.S. model is the NT1100 DCT: a 1,084cc parallel twin with a six-speed automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission. Its broad range of intended uses is a reasonable way to describe the package—not proof that it excels at every task or outperforms rival motorcycles.
What kind of motorcycle is the Honda NT1100?
Honda positions the NT1100 as a tourer for paved-road travel, rather than an off-road adventure bike. Its mix of an adjustable windscreen, passenger-oriented equipment and available luggage addresses longer rides, while its road-focused format also makes it relevant to daily use. Those features describe its intended versatility; they do not establish how it handles in a particular commute or on a long trip.
Honda says the NT1100 was introduced in Europe as a 2022 model. In Honda Europe’s 2026 release, the company says more than 20,000 NT1100s had been sold and calls it Europe’s most popular tourer in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Both are Honda’s own historical and category claims, not independent market research. Honda UK’s NT1100 overview provides market-specific context for the touring equipment.
What is on the 2026 U.S. NT1100 DCT?
American Honda’s U.S. listing identifies one 2026 configuration: the NT1100 DCT. The specifications below are manufacturer-published values, not independent measurements or performance-test results. American Honda’s product page describes the features, and its 2026 specifications page lists the figures.

Is the NT1100 DCT-only?
That depends on the market. The current U.S. listing is the DCT model, but Honda Europe describes both manual and DCT versions for 2026, along with an electronic-suspension variant. Do not assume that a transmission or suspension configuration listed in one region is offered in another.
How the U.S. DCT works
American Honda describes the six-speed DCT as offering automatic operation and manual control through paddle shifters. That gives riders a choice between letting the transmission select gears and making shifts themselves without a conventional manual clutch. It is not the same as a manual-transmission model, which Honda lists separately in Europe.

Which features support touring and everyday use?
Wind protection and cockpit technology
The U.S. feature page describes a windscreen with five positions and 6.5 inches of adjustment. It also lists Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These are manufacturer-described features; their presence does not establish a particular level of wind comfort or ease of use for every rider.
Luggage and passenger equipment vary by country
Honda’s U.K. overview describes panniers, a rear rack, centre stand, and ACC and USB charging sockets as standard equipment for its model information. The U.S. page instead presents luggage among a range of accessories and also lists passenger comfort pegs. Treat the equipment as market-specific, and check the exact model year and local specification before relying on an item being included.

Rider aids and European specifications
Honda Germany’s 2026 listing gives output as 75.0 kW (102 PS) at 7,500 rpm, torque as 112 Nm at 5,500 rpm, and fuel consumption as 5.0 L/100 km. These are Honda Germany’s published figures for its European listing—not U.S. output figures or observed real-world fuel economy. The German page also lists cruise control, three levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control plus off, and rear-wheel lift control. Honda Germany’s NT1100 information is the source for those regional figures and features.

The figures establish the U.S. model’s listed weight, seat height and fuel capacity, while Honda’s feature pages document its described equipment. They do not establish how comfortable the bike will be for a specific rider, its real-world range, reliability, ownership costs or its standing against competitors. No independent road test or controlled comparison is established here, so claims that the NT1100 is unusually good at everything should be read as opinion rather than a test conclusion.

For a purchase decision, compare the exact regional model and equipment against your priorities: transmission, fit and seat reach, wind protection, luggage inclusion, suspension configuration, and the riding you expect to do. Honda’s U.S. pages describe luggage as accessories, whereas its U.K. information describes panniers as standard; that distinction alone can change what a buyer needs to budget for.
