The Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo is the likely car behind the headline: Xiaomi unveiled it as a full-scale electric hypercar concept at MWC 2026 in Barcelona on March 2. It was created for the Gran Turismo franchise, but Xiaomi has not established that it will be built for sale—or that it will appear in a particular game.

That distinction matters: a full-size show concept can communicate a design direction without being a finished vehicle intended for customers. Xiaomi’s announcement establishes the concept’s name, its hypercar positioning, and its Gran Turismo connection; it does not establish a retail version or a delivery timetable.
What is—and is not—known about its specifications
The available announcement does not provide Vision Gran Turismo-specific figures for power, acceleration, top speed, range, battery capacity, or charging. It is therefore not possible to make a grounded performance comparison with production electric hypercars from the details announced.

Figures published for Xiaomi’s other vehicles, including the SU7, SU7 Ultra, and YU7, describe those separate models. They should not be treated as specifications for this concept.
Is the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo going on sale?
No production plan, price, order process, or sale date for the Vision Gran Turismo is established in Xiaomi’s announcement. Nor does the reveal confirm that the car will be playable in a specific Gran Turismo game or edition. Its franchise connection is confirmed; the precise form of any in-game appearance is not.

The concept arrives as Xiaomi’s production-car business expands, but company sales figures are not evidence of demand for this show car. Xiaomi’s 2026 results presentation reports 411,082 smart EV deliveries in 2025. It also reports more than 30,000 locked-in orders for the new-generation SU7 in its first three days after its March 2026 launch. Both figures concern Xiaomi’s broader EV business or the SU7—not the Vision Gran Turismo.

For now, the concept is most useful to understand as a design statement and a link between Xiaomi’s automotive ambitions and the Gran Turismo franchise. The announcement leaves its technical details and any future customer or game availability unresolved.
