New Atlas reported its specifications in September 2024; those figures are not independent test results, and the sources available do not establish that the bike is currently for sale or road-legal in any particular jurisdiction.
What is the EVE Odyssey V2?
The EVE Odyssey V2 is a handcrafted motorcycle from Bandit9, the design-focused motorcycle company. Its bullet-like bodywork and minimal silhouette explain the “alien” description: that language refers to its appearance, not to a motorcycle class or technical feature. New Atlas’s September 2024 report is the source for the model details and specifications below.
What are its reported specifications?
New Atlas reported the following figures for the EVE Odyssey V2 in 2024. They are published specifications, not independently verified performance measurements.
| Specification | Reported detail |
|---|---|
| Engine | Honda-sourced, air-cooled 125cc four-stroke single-cylinder |
| Transmission and carburetor | Four-speed transmission; Mikuni carburetor |
| Top speed | 68 mph (109 km/h), described as theoretical; rider aerodynamics affect speed |
| Fuel economy | More than 150 mpg (1.88 L/100 km), as reported |
| Dimensions | 86.6 × 31.5 × 29.5 inches (220 × 80 × 75 cm) |
| Weight | 265 lb (120 kg) |
| Exterior and frame | 7075 aluminum shell around an in-house aluminum box frame |
The speed and economy numbers should be read as claims reported by New Atlas, not as promises of what a rider will achieve. The outlet specifically describes the top speed as theoretical and notes the effect of the rider’s aerodynamics.

What makes the design unusual?
The aluminum shell and box frame give the bike its distinctive uninterrupted, capsule-like shape. New Atlas also describes a rear monoshock, an unusual front-fork arrangement, forged Marchesini 10-spoke wheels and a single-sided swingarm. Details such as flush LED indicators, a vertical-strip LED taillight, reworked aluminum foot controls, handmade levers and custom-machined switchgear continue the minimalist treatment.
The cockpit uses a digital Motogadget Motoscope Mini display mounted on a bespoke bracket. The report also mentions a titanium underslung exhaust upgrade. These details describe the reported build; they do not establish that the components are available as replacement parts for this motorcycle.

- Entry-Level Sport Bike Design: The HHH Upgraded 250cc Motorcycle GTX 250 with EFI features a 6 speed manual transmission, hydraulic disc brakes (dual front), and 17-inch wheels with street tires
- Altitude Adaptability with EFI: Electronic Fuel Injection automatically compensates for changes in altitude by sensing air temperature and density, eliminating the need to manually adjust carburetors jetting at different elevations
- Enhanced Throttle Response: By delivering fuel directly into the combustion chamber in response to the rider's input, the EFI system eliminates throttle lag associated with carburetors, resulting in smoother and more instantaneous acceleration with dual front headlights and sporty styling
- Zongshen Engine with EFI Technology: HHH GTX 250 is powered by a Zongshen-brand engine and uses electronic fuel injection for better performance and fuel economy with high power output
- Easier Starting System: The EFI system optimizes fuel delivery for ambient conditions, ensuring reliable and easy engine starts, especially in cold weather, without the need for a manual choke
Is it practical to ride on the road?
New Atlas characterizes the riding position as extreme: the bike leaves little room between the rider’s knees and has a minimal seat. The outlet says it does not appear ideal for highway cruising. That is an editorial assessment, not a documented road-test finding, so it is best treated as a caution about the design rather than a tested verdict on comfort or handling.
“Street-legal” in the headline should not be taken as proof that an individual EVE Odyssey V2 can be registered for road use everywhere. Registration and equipment rules vary by country and, in some places, by state or province. The available reporting does not establish homologation, registration documents or compliance for any specific market; check local requirements and the bike’s documentation before treating it as road-ready.

Bandit9’s official homepage, accessed October 8, 2026, does not list the EVE Odyssey V2 among its displayed models. The site invites general inquiries about orders and bespoke work, but that does not confirm that this particular motorcycle remains available to order. The page’s brand copy describes the company’s work as moving “From the streets to the world’s museums—Bandit9’s story written in metal, speed, and sculpture.”
A September 2024 report said Bandit9 planned an electric version, but its production timing was unclear at the time. That is a historical plan, not confirmation that an electric EVE Odyssey has since entered production.
