This is the Brazilian-market Tornado specification—not the seat height of the separate US-market CRF300L.
Honda XR 300L Tornado seat height
Honda Brazil gives the XR 300L Tornado a nominal seat height of 890 mm, equivalent to about 35.0 inches. The figure appears in Honda’s 2024 press release for the 2025 XR 300L Tornado and on its Brazilian product page, whose technical table is effective January 6, 2026.
Do not confuse it with the US Honda CRF300L
The XR 300L Tornado and the CRF300L are distinct model names, not two regional labels for the same motorcycle. American Honda’s 2025 CRF300L specification sheet lists a 34.7-inch seat height. That value belongs to the CRF300L; it should not replace the Brazilian XR 300L Tornado’s 890 mm figure.
Seat height is not ground reach
The 890 mm measurement is the manufacturer’s nominal seat-height specification. Honda’s cited material does not explain how loaded suspension sag changes the seat’s position, and the number alone cannot determine whether a particular rider can put both feet flat on the ground. Honda’s 2024 release separately lists 268 mm of ground clearance; ground clearance is the distance below the motorcycle, not another measure of seat height.
