The Genesis Neolun Concept is a design study for a full-size luxury electric SUV, unveiled at Genesis House New York on March 25, 2024. Genesis used it to show how a flagship SUV might combine a calm, Korean-inspired exterior with a spacious, hospitality-focused cabin. It is a concept, not a production specification sheet.
What Genesis revealed with the Neolun Concept
Genesis introduced the Neolun alongside the GV60 Magma concept at its Genesis House space in New York. The company called Neolun its first full-size electric SUV concept and framed it as an exploration of luxury and hospitality. In the automaker’s words, it “embodies the ultimate Genesis hospitality behind the wheel”; that is Genesis’s promotional description of its design intent, not an independent assessment. What features did Genesis show?
B-pillarless coach doors and a seamless exterior
The reveal emphasized coach doors without a B-pillar and a seamless exterior treatment. These are concept design features presented to communicate openness and visual simplicity; the announcement does not establish them as specifications for a production vehicle. Genesis Newsroom
A cabin organized around hospitality
Genesis presented the interior as a generous, welcoming space and described the concept as an ultraluxury SUV vision informed by Korean minimalist aesthetics. That language is the brand’s own design framing. The concept page does not provide a complete cabin specification or establish what interior equipment would carry over to a production model. Is the Neolun a production car?
No. Genesis’s 2024 materials identify Neolun as a concept. In a 2026 announcement, Genesis described the GV90 as its production flagship SUV and said it is based on the NEOLUN concept revealed in 2024. That establishes a design relationship, not that every Neolun concept feature or technical detail appears on the GV90. What technical specifications are established?
The cited Neolun concept announcement and concept page do not establish battery capacity, driving range, motor output, dimensions, charging rate, price, or production specifications. Those figures should not be inferred from the GV90 or from unverified reporting. The available material is about the Neolun’s design intent and announced concept features, rather than a complete technical specification.
