What the 2012 reports say about the bike
Two reports from January 2012, one from 15min and one from Asphalt & Rubber, describe the motorcycle as a turbocharged Hayabusa rated at 499 hp. That figure is the publications’ own description of the bike. Neither report presents it as an independent dynamometer measurement, so it should be read as a reported specification rather than a verified output.
The two reports also differ on how the bike was to be handed out. One says the official site was offering the motorcycle in an online lottery. The other describes it as a giveaway connected with the sixth DVD release. Both describe a prize, not a completed transfer, and neither names a winner.
Why the outcome of the giveaway is still unknown
The sources located for this article do not include a winner announcement, a closing notice for the promotion, a record of the bike changing hands, or any reliable report of who owns it now. That gap matters because the bike is often described as if its fate were known. It is not. Anyone who says it was raffled, sold, destroyed, or kept by the rider is going beyond the reporting available.

If you are trying to trace the motorcycle yourself, these are the checks that would settle the question:
- Find the original contest rules or terms for the DVD promotion, including the entry window and how winners were to be chosen.
- Look for a dated winner announcement from the company that ran the promotion, and for follow-up coverage in the weeks after the entry window closed.
- Be cautious with later posts that repeat the 499 hp figure without citing a 2012 source. Repetition of the specification does not confirm what happened to the bike.
The rider’s later history is a separate story
France Stunt Media identifies Ghost Rider as Patrik Von Fürstenhoff. Its report describes a serious accident in September 2020 and says he afterward worked toward a new record attempt on a different turbo Hayabusa. The planned attempt was a wheelie over 1,000 meters, with a target speed above 357 km/h. Those are targets, not achieved results. The report does not show a publication year for this section, so its date should be treated as unconfirmed.

The report does not say that the new project is the 2012 giveaway motorcycle, and nothing in the material located ties the two machines together. Reporting that discusses the accident or the later build should not be read as news about the original bike.
No direct statement from Fürstenhoff, a regulator, or a named technical expert was located. The France Stunt Media report is written in French and is summarized here in paraphrase, not quoted.

The Suzuki Hayabusa, also sold as the GSX1300R, is a production motorcycle. The bike in the giveaway coverage was a modified example with a turbocharger, and its specifications come from the 2012 reporting rather than from Suzuki. A current stock Hayabusa listing can tell you about the base model. It cannot tell you anything about the individual motorcycle described in 2012.

The 2012 reports come from automotive and motorcycle outlets and do not cite a primary source for the 499 hp figure. Until one surfaces, the specification and the giveaway are both best understood as contemporary reporting.
