Manthey’s English product list names 15 components, but its option markings mean that a listed part is not necessarily fitted to every car or included in an identical bundle in every market.
The exact contents, available combinations and installed price depend on your country and the quotation from an authorized Porsche or Manthey center. Use the inventory below as a checklist, then have the dealer identify which pieces are standard in the quoted package, optional, or available separately.

Manthey uses one asterisk for “Option” and two asterisks for “also available separately.” The carbon-fibre louvres carry both symbols, as do the Gurney flap and tow lug. The coilovers, aero disc and braided brake lines are marked as separately available; the exact bundle still varies by market and model-year ordering system.

How the parts change the GT4 RS
Aerodynamic changes
The package is engineered to create more usable downforce at circuit speeds. Porsche’s descriptions include front flaps, air curtains, a wheel-arch Gurney flap and a carbon underbody with diffusers. At the back, the revised wing is wider, uses larger side blades and offers four positions instead of the standard car’s three. The carbon reinforcement on the rear engine-cover area supports the additional wing load, while the rear-wheel carbon-fibre-reinforced-plastic aero discs reduce turbulence around the wheels.
Wing position matters. The quoted maximum-downforce result applies to the rear wing in Porsche’s track Performance position, not to every one of the four settings. A road user who leaves the wing in a lower-drag position should not expect the same aerodynamic balance or measured downforce.
Suspension and chassis changes
The coilover arrangement uses an inverted, adjustable design. Rebound and compression can be changed without tools, and the kit can be specified for a 718 Cayman GT4 RS with or without front-axle lift. Porsche reported a 20 percent increase in front spring rate for its 2024 U.S. description. That higher rate, together with the adjustable dampers and revised aerodynamic load, is intended to keep the car controlled during high-speed cornering and braking.

Front-axle-lift compatibility is a buying decision, not a minor detail. Tell the center whether your car has lift before parts are ordered; a quote that does not identify the lift adaptation leaves an important fitment question unanswered.
Brake and track-use equipment
The brake-related hardware comprises the braided lines and the high-performance pad set. The lines are intended to produce a firmer, more immediate pedal feel. Pads aimed at road and track-day use can tolerate repeated high-temperature stops, but their noise, dust, cold bite and disc-wear characteristics may differ from a quiet road compound. Ask which pad specification is installed and whether a road-friendly alternative is supplied for your use.
Porsche’s U.S. material says steel brake lines are a standard component of its U.S. kit description, while the 2023 U.S. announcement identifies track brake pads as optional. That distinction is why a U.S. quote should list the pad compound separately instead of assuming that “brake package” means the same thing everywhere.

Are all 15 parts standard?
No. The 15-item inventory is a catalogue of components associated with the Manthey Kit, not a guarantee that every delivered car receives every item. Manthey explicitly marks the brake pads, louvres, Gurney flap and tow lug as options; several of those are also sold separately. Regional Porsche packaging can add another layer of variation.

- Parts physically installed on the car.
- Parts ordered but supplied separately.
- Optional components declined or unavailable in that market.
- Whether front-axle-lift adaptation is included.
- Rear-wing setting supplied for alignment and delivery.
- Brake-pad specification and whether the car is intended for road, track days or both.
- Installation, alignment and any required setup charges.
Do not treat illuminated sill guards, decorative decals or tow hardware as proof that the full aerodynamic and suspension specification is present. They are separate line items in the product inventory.

What Porsche’s U.S. announcements add
Porsche Cars North America’s 2023 announcement supplies useful U.S.-specific qualifications. It describes track brake pads and tow loops as optional, calls illuminated sill guards available for personalization, and identifies optional carbon-fibre fender vents and a rear spoiler attachment or Gurney extension. Those labels apply to that U.S. offer and should not be generalized to every country.
The 2024 U.S. announcement describes an optional supplementary package priced separately from the main kit. It replaces the front-fender louvres and adds a larger visible-carbon rear Gurney attachment. Because the package is a dated U.S. configuration, a current buyer should have the center confirm whether that exact version remains orderable.
Does the Manthey Kit add engine power?
No engine-output increase is described in the official material covered here. The package changes aerodynamic load, suspension control and braking hardware. Any faster lap is therefore attributed to the car’s ability to generate and manage cornering and braking performance, not to a revised horsepower figure.

What performance improvement has Porsche reported?
Downforce measurement
Porsche Cars North America reported 372 pounds of total downforce for the Manthey-equipped car versus 196 pounds for the standard car at approximately 124 mph. The kit figure used the rear wing in its track Performance position. These are manufacturer-reported values under the stated configuration; they are not a universal result for every wing angle, tire, ride height or customer alignment.
Nordschleife lap
In Porsche’s 2023 announcement, factory driver Jörg Bergmeister recorded 7:03.121 minutes on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, more than six seconds quicker than the standard car’s prior-year lap. Both cars used optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, and Porsche said a notary certified the lap. The 2024 announcement rounds the improvement to more than six seconds. That test demonstrates the potential of the complete test configuration; it is not a guaranteed customer lap time.
How much does the kit cost?
Porsche Cars North America’s May 10, 2024 announcement listed a U.S. MSRP of $53,946 for the kit, excluding installation. It also listed a $5,890 supplementary package. Those figures are dated U.S. manufacturer prices, not a current worldwide quote, and they do not establish taxes, labor, alignment or later price changes.
Ask the authorized center for a written total that separates parts, installation, alignment, brake-pad choice, taxes and any supplementary package. Manthey states that kits are available through Manthey and Porsche Centers worldwide, while Porsche’s U.S. announcement says U.S. ordering and installation go through authorized Porsche Centers. Availability and packaging should therefore be checked with the center serving your market.
How to evaluate a dealer quote
- Confirm the car. Provide the VIN, model year, front-axle-lift status and current wheel, tire and brake specification.
- Choose the intended use. State whether the car is primarily road-driven, used for occasional track days or prepared for frequent circuit work.
- Request the component list. Have the center mark each of the 15 inventory items as included, optional, separately supplied or unavailable.
- Verify the aero setup. Ask which wing position, Gurney configuration, louvres, underbody parts and wheel aero discs are being quoted.
- Verify the suspension setup. Confirm lift adaptation, spring-rate specification, damper adjustment procedure and the post-installation alignment plan.
- Verify braking hardware. Get the exact pad specification, line type and any bedding-in instructions before accepting the car.
- Separate dated pricing from current pricing. Use the 2024 U.S. figures only as historical context; rely on the center’s current written quotation for the amount payable.
What the kit does not tell you
A kit name does not by itself specify tire compound, wheel alignment, ride height, wing angle or driver setup. Those variables materially affect balance and lap time. Nor does the inventory establish that a road car will be comfortable with track-oriented pads or that every component is legal or desirable for a particular racing series. Your center should confirm local approval, warranty treatment and any competition-class implications before installation.
The practical answer is that the Manthey Kit is a configurable aero, coilover and brake package with supporting track hardware and trim. The complete list is a starting point; the signed, market-specific parts and labor quotation is the authoritative answer for an individual GT4 RS.
