There is no defensible single answer to “the most expensive Ford car” from Ford’s published U.S. prices alone: the result changes depending on whether you mean passenger cars or every Ford vehicle, and whether you compare starting MSRPs, top trims, or fully optioned builds. Ford lists the 2026 Mustang at a $32,995 starting MSRP, but its current pages do not establish a comparable price for the Mustang GTD or prove which Ford has the highest price. If you mean all Ford vehicles, the company’s showroom also lists commercial trucks, so a passenger-car ranking would not answer the broader question.
What counts as the most expensive Ford?
For a fair comparison, specify the market and price measure. The figures below concern Ford’s U.S. lineup and are starting MSRPs—not a comparison of each model’s most expensive trim, options, or dealer transaction price. Ford’s current showroom covers cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, and commercial vehicles, so “Ford cars” can mean either passenger cars specifically or Ford vehicles broadly.
- Passenger cars: Compare Ford’s car models and their prices, not pickups or commercial trucks.
- All Ford vehicles: Include trucks, vans, and commercial vehicles. Ford’s showroom listing for the 2027 F-650–F-750 commercial series shows a $69,995 starting price, but that does not establish the most expensive Ford configuration or a like-for-like ranking against passenger cars.
- Most expensive configuration: Compare top-trim or fully optioned MSRPs for the same model year and market. A starting MSRP cannot answer this question.
- What buyers pay: Dealer charges, taxes, destination, options, and markups can affect the final transaction price; that is different from MSRP.
What Ford’s published 2026 prices establish
Ford’s current model pages provide useful starting-price context, but they do not supply a complete ranking of the highest-priced Ford models or configurations.
| Ford model or series | Published starting MSRP | What the figure does—and does not—show |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 Mustang | $32,995 | Ford’s 2026 Mustang page lists this starting MSRP and shows higher starting prices for Mustang GT and GT Premium examples. It is not a top-trim or fully optioned price. Ford 2026 Mustang |
| 2026 Super Duty | $45,975 | Ford’s 2026 specifications page lists this starting MSRP across a series that includes F-250, F-350, and F-450 variants. It does not identify the most expensive available configuration. Ford 2026 Super Duty |
| 2027 F-650–F-750 commercial series | $69,995 | Ford’s showroom lists this starting price for a commercial series. It is not directly comparable to a passenger-car price or evidence of the series’ highest configuration. Ford showroom |
How much does the Ford Mustang GTD cost?
Ford’s current pages reference the 2026 Mustang GTD, but the available Ford U.S. showroom and Mustang information does not establish its current U.S. MSRP or confirm ordering availability. That means an exact GTD price cannot be stated responsibly here, and the evidence does not prove that it is the most expensive Ford. Do not treat the 2026 Mustang’s $32,995 starting MSRP as a GTD price: that figure is for the Mustang lineup starting point.

Why Super Duty capability figures are not a price ranking
Ford lists maximum available Super Duty capability figures of 40,000 pounds of towing, 8,000 pounds of payload, and 1,200 lb-ft of diesel torque on its 2026 specifications page. These are maximums for available configurations, not prices and not proof that Super Duty is the most expensive Ford. A capability comparison and a price comparison answer different questions.

Before deciding which Ford is “most expensive,” make sure the candidates share the same basis:
Rank #2
- Highly detailed 1:24 scale diecast model kit of 1929 Ford Model A
- Comes with everything needed for assembly including screwdriver
- Features opening parts, rolling wheels and pre-painted metal body
- Easy to assemble, creates fully functional rolling replica model car
- Fun and educational STEM activity for kids to build realistic miniature vehicle
- Market and model year: Use current U.S. figures for the same model year; Ford prices, inventory, and ordering status can change.
- Vehicle scope: Decide whether pickups, vans, and commercial models belong in the comparison or whether you mean passenger cars only.
- Price measure: Compare starting MSRP with starting MSRP, top-trim MSRP with top-trim MSRP, or fully optioned MSRP with fully optioned MSRP.
- Included costs: Check the relevant Ford price disclosures for destination and other charges, and distinguish MSRP from taxes, registration, dealer charges, options, and any dealer markup.
- Availability: A model reference does not by itself confirm that the vehicle can be ordered or bought now.
Ford’s published figures support a starting-price comparison for selected models, not a definitive answer about the highest-priced Ford car or vehicle. The Mustang GTD’s exact current U.S. price and ordering status remain unestablished by the cited Ford pages.
