As of October 7, that plan remains the clearest answer to what comes next—and its most important details are still unknown.
What did Filosa say about Maserati?
During Stellantis’s February 26, 2026 full-year results Q&A, CEO Antonio Filosa was asked about Maserati’s place in the company’s portfolio. He pointed analysts to the May 21 Investor Day for details on Maserati and the broader brand portfolio, saying: “Then for details on Maserati, as on all of the brand portfolio, I will invite you to attend our Investor Day May 21st.” Stellantis full-year results Q&A
That response deferred the question; it did not announce a sale, closure, or specific product plan. The subsequent May announcement offered a limited commitment, rather than a complete long-term strategy.
What has Stellantis committed to?

The announcement does not identify the vehicles or provide launch dates, powertrain details, or a Maserati-specific investment amount. Those are open questions, not confirmed specifications.
How much investment is allocated to Maserati?
Stellantis described FaSTLAne 2030 as a €60 billion plan over five years. It said more than €24 billion—40% of total research and development and capital expenditure over that period—would go to global platforms, powertrains, and new technologies. What Maserati models are on sale now?
Maserati’s June 18, 2026 update announced refreshed Grecale, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio models. The company described continued use of its V6 Nettuno engine and updates to the Folgore range. Maserati’s June 18, 2026 range update
This shows ongoing activity across the current range, but Maserati has not said that these refreshed models are the two future E-segment vehicles in Stellantis’s May commitment.

What remains unknown?
The December roadmap is the next stated milestone. Until Stellantis provides more information, the announced plan does not answer:
- Which two vehicles Maserati will add, or what body styles they will use.
- When they will launch or which markets will receive them.
- Which powertrains they will use.
- How much Stellantis will invest specifically in Maserati.
