Is the Alfa Romeo 4C coming back?
Alfa Romeo’s end-of-series page lists the 4C and 4C Spider among discontinued models and describes its end-of-series cars as collector items. Stellantis Heritage says the 4C was produced as a coupé and Spider until 2020. Neither source establishes a 2026 road-car launch or a return to ordinary series production.
The phrase “brought back from the dead” can describe a special heritage build, but it should not be read as confirmation that customers can order a new production 4C. The official material supports a distinction between the discontinued road car and later bespoke projects.

4C Designer’s Cut
For the 4C’s 10th anniversary, Stellantis Heritage announced the 4C Designer’s Cut as a single customized model, with Alfa Romeo design project manager Alessandro Maccolini involved in its customization. It was presented as a heritage one-off, not as the first car in a revived production series. Stellantis Heritage’s announcement describes its scope.

4C Collezione GT “Nicola Larini”
Stellantis Heritage also documented the handover of the first 4C Collezione GT “Nicola Larini” and an accompanying Heritage–Alfa Romeo Classiche Certificate of Authenticity. The project’s name commemorates Larini’s 1993 DTM title in the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI; it does not indicate a return to standard 4C production. The handover announcement documents the car and certificate.

What were the end-of-series 4C Spider’s specifications?
Alfa Romeo’s end-of-series 4C Spider page lists a 1.75-litre turbo petrol engine delivering up to 240 HP, a six-speed Alfa TCT transmission and weight below 1,000 kg. These figures apply to the discontinued end-of-series Spider specification shown on that page; they should not be generalized to every 4C version or treated as specifications for a new model.

The page also highlights the car’s lightweight carbon-fibre, aluminium and composite construction. Its Spider specification describes a cloth roof, braking system and differentiated tire diameters. These details characterize the end-of-series car, not a confirmed successor.
