Yes. In the Western Australian Government’s FuelWatch ranking of Perth metropolitan regular unleaded petrol (ULP) retailers for 2020, Costco Perth Airport recorded the lowest annual average: 95.1 cents per litre. The listing notes that membership was required. For motorists who did not need membership, Liberty at Gosnells was the top-ranked public-access retailer, averaging 102.9 cents per litre.
What FuelWatch’s 2020 ranking says
The Western Australian Government published its results on 4 January 2021. In the reported Perth metro ranking, Costco Perth Airport had a 2020 average ULP price of 95.1 cents per litre. That makes it the lowest annual average in that ranking—not a statement about every daily price or every petrol station in Perth.
The Government announcement identifies Costco’s access condition as membership-required. Its separate number-one result for retailers open to the general public was Liberty Gosnells, with a 2020 average of 102.9 cents per litre. Read the Government of Western Australia’s announcement and ranking.

What the figures mean for drivers
The ranking compares historic average pump prices; it does not show how much any individual driver would save by buying fuel at Costco. Whether a membership is worthwhile depends on a driver’s circumstances and the applicable membership terms, which the annual ranking does not assess. Liberty Gosnells is the ranking’s public-access alternative, but its average was higher than Costco’s.
Finding today’s or tomorrow’s prices
For a current trip, use FuelWatch rather than relying on the 2020 averages. Why the 2020 result is a historical snapshot
The announcement also noted that the weekly price cycle continued in 2020: on average, Mondays and Tuesdays were the cheapest days, while Wednesdays and Thursdays were the most expensive, according to the Commissioner for Consumer Protection. This describes the average pattern across that year, not a guarantee for a particular retailer, day or week.
