How many Lykan HyperSports were planned?
W Motors’ technical data sheet calls the car a “LIMITED EDITION LYKAN, 7 UNITS WORLDWIDE.” Gulf Times also reported a seven-car plan at launch. The newspaper quoted W Motors chairman and CEO Ralph R. Debbas as saying: “After some six years of research and development, we decided to launch this hypercar and all the seven units are in the final stage of production and they (the vehicles) will be delivered to their lucky owners by September,”

A 2013 pre-show preview by The Peninsula reported 750 hp, 1,000 Nm and a 390 km/h top speed. W Motors’ technical sheet instead lists 780 hp, 960 Nm and a maximum 395 km/h, with that speed dependent on gear ratios.
