The Volvo EX60 is a five-seat, all-electric midsize SUV offered in three versions: rear-wheel-drive P6, all-wheel-drive P10, and all-wheel-drive P12. Volvo quotes up to 611, 660, and 810 km of WLTP range, respectively; its U.S. figures are separate, preliminary estimates of up to 307, 322, and 400 miles based on EPA test cycles. U.S. MSRP announced for P6 and P10 starts at $58,400 before destination. U.S. orders opened in May 2026, and Volvo reported first European deliveries in Sweden in July 2026.
What is the Volvo EX60?
The EX60 is Volvo’s all-electric, five-seat midsize SUV, built on the company’s SPA3 electric-vehicle architecture. The three powertrains are P6 (rear-wheel drive), P10 AWD, and P12 AWD. Specifications and equipment can vary by market and configuration, and the available manufacturer announcements do not provide a complete final specification sheet for every country.
Volvo says SPA3 incorporates cell-to-body battery technology, new battery-cell design, in-house-developed motors, and megacasting. The vehicle’s core computing system is called HuginCore. These are Volvo’s descriptions of its engineering and software; they are not independent performance or safety assessments.
What is the range of the Volvo EX60?
Volvo’s July 2026 global update gives preliminary WLTP ranges of up to 611 km for P6, 660 km for P10 AWD, and 810 km for P12 AWD. In its May 2026 U.S. announcement, Volvo Car USA gave preliminary estimates of up to 307, 322, and 400 miles, respectively, calculated using EPA test cycles. Volvo said official EPA range estimates would be released later, so these U.S. numbers are not final EPA ratings. The two sets of figures use different measurement contexts and should not be compared as though they were the same test.

These are manufacturer figures, not guarantees of driving distance in everyday use. Volvo says actual range can change with charge level, vehicle specification, tire size, accessories, outdoor and battery temperature, weather, terrain, driving style, and speed.
How fast does the EX60 charge?
Volvo describes SPA3 as an 800-volt platform. In its May 2026 U.S. announcement, it estimated 10–80% charging in 16 minutes for P6 and P10 AWD, and 19 minutes for P12 AWD. Listed maximum charging rates were 320 kW for P6 and 370 kW for both AWD versions. Those are preliminary estimates under favorable conditions at a station capable of supplying the vehicle’s requirements; the station must not limit charging, and actual time depends on variant, ambient and battery temperature, and vehicle condition.
Volvo’s July global update says the EX60 can add up to 340 km in 10 minutes when using a 400 kW fast charger, and cites a 16-minute 10–80% time for P6 and P10 AWD. Its original global launch announcement’s 400 kW test note applied to P12 AWD; these charging claims are tied to the stated configuration and conditions, not a universal result at every charger.

For the U.S. market, Volvo says the EX60 is its first model with a native North American Charging Standard (NACS) port. Volvo described this as providing adapter-free access to more than 29,000 Tesla Supercharger stations nationwide in its May 2026 announcement. That network figure is Volvo’s claim, not a guarantee that every station is accessible or operational.

The main published distinctions are drive layout, range, and the U.S. charging figures. Volvo had published U.S. pricing for P6 and P10 AWD in May 2026, while P12 pricing was to follow later. It also said P12 would be available later than P6 and P10 in the U.S.

How much does the Volvo EX60 cost?
Volvo Car USA’s May 2026 announcement listed the following U.S. prices. The figures are MSRP, exclude a $1,395 destination fee, and do not include any applicable taxes, options, or incentives.

What do Plus and Ultra include in the U.S.?
In Volvo Car USA’s May announcement, the P6 Plus equipment description included a 15-inch OLED touchscreen, Google Built-in with Gemini, Pilot Assist, a 21-speaker Bose Premium Sound system, and Safe Space Technology. The Ultra description added ventilated Nappa leather, a 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system, a dimmable electrochromic panoramic roof, and heated second-row booster seats. Equipment can differ by market and configuration, so these descriptions should not be assumed to apply to every EX60 sold worldwide.

When can you buy the Volvo EX60?
United States
Volvo Car USA said orders opened on May 18, 2026, through authorized retailers and its online configurator. At that time, P6 and P10 AWD were the initial configurable powertrains, with P12 to follow. The May announcement expected test-drive scheduling to begin later that summer and initial deliveries shortly thereafter; it does not establish current inventory or delivery timing.
Europe
On July 16, 2026, Volvo Cars reported that the first EX60 customer cars had been delivered in Europe, with the first customers in Sweden. Volvo said European order books remained open and production and deliveries would ramp up in the second half of 2026.
Other markets
The announcements do not establish a complete current delivery calendar or final specifications for every country. Check your local Volvo retailer for the versions currently orderable and an up-to-date delivery estimate.

What technology and safety features does Volvo describe?
Volvo says the EX60 launches with Google Gemini as an integrated AI assistant and supports over-the-air software updates. It identifies HuginCore as the system that processes information from the vehicle’s sensors. Volvo also describes a multi-adaptive safety belt for front-row occupants and a boron-steel-reinforced safety cage. These are manufacturer statements about vehicle systems and design, not independent safety ratings or crash-test results.
Volvo-published launch details for a Japanese regional version included a 0.26 drag coefficient and a 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system with speakers integrated into the four front- and rear-seat headrests. Confirm local trim and equipment availability before treating those details as standard on a particular market’s EX60.
