That is a company target, not a confirmed dealership date or an announced order-opening date. What has Volkswagen revealed about the ID. EVERY1 concept?
Volkswagen places the concept in its Electric Urban Car Family, a cross-brand program under Brand Group Core. The concept uses the company’s MEB electric-vehicle platform in a front-wheel-drive layout. Volkswagen says the production car is intended to use a new software architecture designed to support functions and upgrades over the vehicle’s life. That is the company’s stated plan, not an independently tested feature.

Both price and timing descriptions are Volkswagen plans, not guarantees. The company’s February 2025 announcement identifies the ID. 2all and ID. EVERY1 as distinct models with those separate target positions. The wider European low-cost EV strategy was also outlined in Volkswagen Group’s May 2024 announcement.

What remains unknown about the production car?
Volkswagen’s concept reveal is not yet a production specification sheet. The cited official materials do not establish:
- the production model’s final name or confirmed sales markets;
- when orders will open, or the precise date it will reach dealerships;
- final retail pricing and what equipment is included at the entry price;
- battery capacity, charging speed, connector type or charging equipment;
- production range or the test cycle behind a production range figure.
Until Volkswagen publishes those details, the concept’s range and other figures cannot support a like-for-like comparison with cars sold today. A useful comparison will need confirmed market pricing, range on a stated test cycle, charging performance, space, warranty and standard equipment.
