Volcon also reported revised suspension and a lighter overall design. The company said the EVO sold out in March 2025, so current new, used, and support availability needs to be checked in your region.
What the Grunt EVO is
Volcon announced the Grunt EVO on March 30, 2023, describing it as the latest edition of its original all-electric off-road motorcycle. It retains the Grunt’s fat-tired layout and Exo-Arch frame. Volcon positioned the bike for off-road riding and quieter travel near places such as hunting or livestock settings; those are intended-use descriptions, not measured noise results or proof that a particular trail permits it. Volcon’s launch announcement introduced it alongside the smaller Runt LT.

The main practical distinction is the belt drive, while suspension, seat, and weight changes are additional manufacturer-reported updates. The available sources do not establish an independent head-to-head performance advantage over the Grunt FE or other electric off-road motorcycles.

Volcon NZ’s regional product page lists these specifications. They should not be treated as universal specifications for every market or configuration. Its page heading calls the model “8kW,” while its specification table gives 7.7 kW; the table value is shown below, with the naming discrepancy noted rather than resolved. Availability and ownership checks
Volcon’s first-quarter 2025 update says Grunt EVO shipments began in October 2023 and the model sold out in March 2025. A reported sellout does not establish whether production resumed, a dealer still has a new unit, or used bikes are available. The EVO is worth investigating if you want a fat-tired electric off-road motorcycle and value the belt-drive change from the chain-driven Grunt FE. The published NZ specification page provides a regional starting point, but it does not establish real-world range under your conditions, local legality, or present-day support. Make stock, serviceability, and trail access part of the decision—not assumptions based on the product listing.
