The Russian-made luxury car is built by NAMI on the Unified Modular Platform; AURUS describes the Senat Limousine as the Russian president’s official limousine. An updated version was presented at Putin’s inauguration on 7 May 2024.
What car does Vladimir Putin use?
It is the AURUS Senat Limousine, part of a Russian luxury-car family developed by NAMI on its Unified Modular Platform. NAMI identifies the Senat Limousine as the official limousine of the Russian president. The updated limousine was presented during Putin’s inauguration ceremony on 7 May 2024; that event establishes its presentation date, not that it is necessarily the latest version currently in service. AURUS’s announcement and the Russian Ministry of Transport’s 2024 report describe the event and the Senat name.
What is the AURUS Senat?
AURUS is the brand; Senat is the name used for its limousine and sedan body styles. The limousine is the presidential car associated with Putin, but the publicly listed Senat model specifications do not establish that every Senat—or every detail of a retail model—is identical to his individual vehicle.
The Senat has also appeared in diplomatic news. In February 2024, the Associated Press reported that Putin gave Kim Jong Un an Aurus Senat, identifying the car based on information from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. AP also reported that Putin had shown the car to Kim during their September 2023 meeting. Read the AP report.

- Humanized Design: The raised baffle at the top effectively prevents it from sliding completely into the car air vent without affecting the air flow. The slot on the front end allows you to hold most air fresheners stably with a back clip.
- Mini Size: Model 3&Y air freshener clips fully utilize the car air vents without taking up extra space, not affecting the driving view,no marks, scratches or damages when removing.
- Uses: The car air freshener holder conveniently clips the air freshener to your car's air vents, providing constant airflow and optimal scent delivery, keeping you relaxed and comfortable while driving.
- Best Gift: This pair of tesla air freshener adapters is a must-have modern décor item and also makes a great gift for family, friends, drivers and any air freshener enthusiast.
What are the AURUS Senat Limousine’s specifications?
AURUS’s English-language model information lists a hybrid 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 598 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of six seconds. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent road-test results. See AURUS’s Senat model information.
Is Putin’s Aurus Senat bulletproof?
AURUS says the Senat Limousine has VR8/VR10 ballistic-protection levels. That is the manufacturer’s published claim for the listed model. It is not an independently verified test of Putin’s individual car, and the published specification alone does not confirm that his vehicle has precisely the same configuration. AURUS’s model page provides the protection description.
