Viribus announced two folding electric tricycles on October 8, 2025: the FC1, positioned for outdoor and performance-oriented riding, and the FC2, aimed at city utility. Both are advertised with the same motor output, torque, top speed and payload capacity; the main differences are wheel size, suspension, weight and folded dimensions. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
FC1 vs. FC2: what changes?
The FC1’s larger tires and added seatpost suspension align with Viribus’ outdoor positioning. The FC2 has smaller stated folded dimensions, which may suit riders with tighter storage space. Neither comparison establishes how either trike performs on a particular route or surface.

Dimensions and weights are important for a folding trike: folding does not make either model light. Check that the folded trike will fit through doorways and into the intended storage space, and consider how you would lift or move a 125-pound-plus vehicle. The folded dimensions above come from New Atlas’ October 17, 2025 report; the other model specifications are listed on Viribus’ FC1 and FC2 product pages.
Shared power and cargo claims
Viribus lists 750 W rated power, 1,200 W peak power, 80 N·m of torque and a maximum speed of 20 mph for both models. The company also lists a 400 lb payload capacity per trike, a rear-basket capacity of 110 lb and a front-basket capacity of 11 lb. Treat these as manufacturer-listed figures; the reviewed sources do not establish independent measurements or testing.

Viribus’ product pages identify the battery as UL 2271 certified. That refers to the battery certification stated on the pages, not certification of the entire tricycle.
How to read the advertised range
Viribus advertises up to 62 miles using pedal assist and up to 36 miles on throttle. New Atlas’ October 17, 2025 report gives more detail by assist setting: 62 miles at the lowest pedal-assist setting, 24 miles at the highest setting and 14 miles on throttle alone. These figures are reported claims, not results from an independent range test, and the maximum should not be treated as a guaranteed everyday distance.

Availability and listed prices
When Viribus’ product pages were checked on October 8, 2026, the FC1 page displayed $1,299 and the FC2 page displayed $999, each alongside a crossed-out regular price of $1,999; both pages also showed the trikes as sold out. These are dated page observations, not a current offer or confirmation of availability. Check the FC1 page and FC2 page for current status and pricing.

- Consider the FC1 if its larger 20-inch tires and additional seatpost suspension fit your intended use and you have room for its larger reported folded dimensions.
- Consider the FC2 if its smaller reported folded size better suits your storage constraints and its 18-inch tires and rear suspension match your needs.
- For either model, compare the quoted range with your likely assist mode, account for the trike’s weight, and verify that the basket and total payload limits suit the load you plan to carry.
Viribus announced the two models on October 8, 2025, describing them as options for performance-oriented riders and city commuters. That positioning is the company’s description, not evidence of independently verified terrain performance. New Atlas reported the launch on October 17, 2025.
