Honda’s official US materials do not mention the European update at all, so a US arrival timeline is unconfirmed. Treat “not anytime soon” as a cautious reading of the current US lineup, not as a confirmed delay or cancellation.
What Honda’s US lineup lists today
Honda’s US Powersports product page for the 2026 model lists two trims. The standard CBR600RR carries a $11,499 MSRP and the ABS version carries $12,499. Both figures exclude the $600 destination charge shown on the page. Prices and specifications can change, so confirm the live page before ordering.

The only substantive difference between the two US trims that Honda’s cited figures establish is the ABS fitment and the 15-pound weight difference.
What the revised European model includes
Honda Global announced the revised CBR600RR on November 7, 2023, as part of its 2024 model-year European line-up, unveiled at EICMA. Honda described the bike as returning to the European range after a six-year absence. The announcement lists the following electronics and chassis features:

These features are tied to Honda’s European announcement. The official US specification materials reviewed for this article do not list the same electronics package, so a US buyer should not assume the European feature set applies to the bike sold in America.
Why the US listing differs is not explained
Honda’s official US materials do not say why the US model is not presented as the European revision. They also do not give a date for a US revision, or say whether one is planned. Explanations circulating in rider forums, such as certification timing or demand, are unverified and should not be read as Honda’s position.

Honda’s 2026 US specification release does address emissions. It states that the model “Meets current EPA standards.” It also says that models sold in California meet current CARB standards and “may differ slightly due to emissions equipment.” That statement describes the US model and California variation only. It does not link emissions rules to the European update.

The current evidence supports a narrow conclusion. Honda sells a 2026 CBR600RR in the US, and its public US materials do not announce the European revision for American customers. Whether a revised model arrives later is open. A reasonable outlook is that the US timeline is unknown, and no official source places it within a specific window.

Several signals would change that assessment:
- A new US specification release from American Honda that lists different electronics or a new model year
- A change to the Honda Powersports US product page that replaces or adds a trim
- An official Honda announcement that names the US market for the revised model
What the 2024 US listing tells you
American Honda published a 2024 CBR600RR specification release on January 23, 2024, which shows the model was already sold in the US in that year. Do not assume the 2024 and 2026 US bikes are mechanically identical. The official sources reviewed do not include a detailed year-to-year comparison, so changes between model years cannot be confirmed from them.
Checking the current US status yourself
- Open Honda’s US Powersports website and find the 2026 CBR600RR product page.
- Compare the listed trims, MSRP, destination charge, and specifications with the figures in this article.
- Check the Honda Powersports US site for any newer model-year listing or updated specification release.
- Ask a local Honda powersports dealer whether a revised CBR600RR is planned for their allocation. Dealers may have information that public materials do not.
If the live listing shows different features or prices from those reported here, the official listing takes precedence.
