Two Proace conversions for different kinds of trips
Tinkervan converted two different Toyota vans for the 2021 display. The Proace Verso Camper was the larger option, offered in medium and long body lengths. The Proace City Mini Camper Outfun was the smaller, more compact setup, reported in two body lengths and a single Outfun configuration. New Atlas described both as intended for outdoor trips and everyday use; that was the report’s framing, not an independently tested finding.

What came with the Proace Verso Camper
The featured Verso used the Nomad Plus Home finish. Its listed equipment included swiveling seats, a 40-liter refrigerator, a removable kitchen sink and a pop-up roof. The roof added sleeping space for two above a cabin sleeping area for two, for four sleeping places in the described setup.
For the launch-era specification, New Atlas reported a choice of 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter diesel engines and six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions. These are details reported for the 2021 conversion launch, not a statement of current availability.

How the City Mini Camper Outfun was set up
The Outfun combined five-seat passenger capacity with sleeping space for two. The reported equipment included swiveling seats, a pull-out table, a modular bed, an electric fridge and a 10-liter shower. An awning and rooftop tent were listed as options rather than standard equipment. The rooftop tent could provide additional sleeping capacity while leaving the cabin available for other use.

New Atlas reported that the conversions would be available through Toyota dealers in Spain, at launch prices of €39,700 for the Proace Verso Camper and €27,500 for the City Mini Camper Outfun. Those figures describe the November 2021 launch period; they should not be treated as current prices or as evidence that either conversion can still be ordered.

The reported launch prices and equipment details come from New Atlas’s November 2021 report, a secondary account citing Toyota.
