How much cheaper was the GH1 in the reported comparison?
New Atlas reported on August 20, 2024 that dealer advertisements it reviewed put the Tiffin GH1’s starting MSRP at about US$189,000. The same article quoted a US$245,463 MSRP for the Winnebago Revel 44E. Those figures imply a difference of about US$56,463 between the reported starting GH1 price and the cited Revel MSRP, but they are not a like-for-like transaction-price comparison. New Atlas said Tiffin did not publish a price list and directed buyers to a dealer for configuration-specific pricing. Equipment the article called standard included a diesel air and water heater, a 15,000-BTU air conditioner, power roof vents, and a powered outdoor awning with integrated LED lighting. Standard equipment can vary by model year and configuration, so use the current specification sheet and purchase order rather than the historical description to verify inclusion.

How the GH1 is laid out for travel
The reported floor plan centers on a rear power-lift bed with a 49 × 79-inch sleeping area. Raising the bed makes space for gear, while a driver-side wet bath and kitchen occupy the main living area. The kitchen includes a portable single-burner induction cooker; the 88-L refrigerator can be accessed from inside or outside, and an exterior work surface extends the usable kitchen area. The report describes the GH1 as sleeping two.
For the 2025 model, the front area was reported as configurable with either a two-seat “Luxury Jump Seat” or an “Adventure Bar” console with work surface and storage. That choice is specifically a 2025-model detail in the report, not a verified feature across all model years.

What can—and cannot—be compared with the Revel
The report presents the GH1 and Revel as broadly similar in their rear lift-bed arrangement and kitchen/bath flow. It offers the GH1’s described front seating or console choice and off-road components as points to weigh, but it does not provide a complete, current, like-for-like Revel specification table. The dated Revel MSRP alone does not establish comparative value, equipment, or ownership cost.
For a useful shopping comparison, ask both manufacturers or authorized dealers for the same model-year information and an itemized quote. Compare the drivetrain and suspension, included versus optional equipment, battery and solar capacity, water system, sleeping dimensions, seating configuration, and usable gear space. A difference in starting MSRP can be misleading if the vans are configured differently.

- Request current GH1 and Revel pricing in writing, including the model year, installed options, destination or delivery charges, and any discounts.
- Confirm which GH1 equipment is standard, optional, or unavailable for the exact build, especially battery capacity, Starlink prewiring, seating or console layout, and heating and cooling equipment.
- Check the current Revel specification and layout directly with Winnebago or its dealer; the 2024 report does not support a complete current comparison.
