The Guinness listing accessed in 2026 shows 69 as the achievement; the record category is specific to electric cars on ice, not donuts in every car or setting.
What was the Guinness record?
The listed result is 69 consecutive donuts, or spins, in an electric car on ice. Guinness World Records identifies Terry Grant as the driver and gives the achievement date as 3 February 2022, at the Race Of Champions in Piteå, Sweden. How was the attempt set up?
Production Taycan on winter tyres
Grant drove a standard-production Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo fitted with winter tyres. The attempt took place on a frozen sea, rather than on a conventional paved track.
Consecutive spins inside a defined area
To meet the listed conditions, the donuts had to continue without stopping inside a circular area twice the length of the car. That makes the result a count of consecutive spins under a defined constraint, not simply a total of donuts accumulated over an unrestricted session.

What “highest number of donuts” means here
The headline refers to this specific Guinness category: “Most consecutive donuts (spins) in an electric car on ice.” It should not be read as a claim about the most donuts ever performed by any car, on any surface, or under any set of rules. Guinness notes that records can change daily and may not be published online immediately, so the page’s 69-spin result is best described as the achievement shown on the listing accessed in 2026, rather than an unconditional claim about the live record today.

Other Taycan records involve drifting, but they measure different things and are not competing results in the donut category.

The later ice-drift record is a distance measure, not a donut count. Porsche says the 2025 attempt used commercially available Michelin tyres with one-millimetre spikes and GPS equipment to record distance and driver inputs. The separate 2020 Hockenheimring result was a continuous drift on an irrigated circuit, not an ice attempt.
